  1. Wrong, the guide dog is washing his hair.
  2. Sorry, don't know what I was thinking of. Now where's Alpine tonight?
  3. It won't be the end of the world if he leaves. Yes he's done well and always gives 100% but we do still have problems at the back. We are conceding a lot of goals and I am concerned about a lack of pace at the back. It's like when a good employee leaves your company, you think 'How are we going to replace him (or her)?'. But quite often things will work out for the best. And you can bet AP is prepared for whatever may come.
  4. But what happens when it's no longer the fashion? You're stuck with it.
  5. Was a little strong I admit, thought I was Alpine for a minute. Just don't understand the point of them, never have, never will. Same with body piercings.
  6. I seriously think people who have tatoos have got a screw loose  They are for insecure people who think they need to somehow 'show their individuality' when in fact they are simply following the crowd.
  7. Think that was before today's results. Still top but level with Millwall.
  8. Yeah, they have fallen to pieces since beating us. Time for revenge!
  9. Totally agree, and the important thing is that AP HAS changed things round to get the result. He is not religiously sticking to one system. I think he probably will start 4-4-2 soon, probably at home. A lot of people see 4-5-1 as a negative formation, I don't agree.
  10. Have you spoken to you brother yet?
  11. I see we are still 3rd in the form table: http://www.4thegame.com/statistics/league-one/tables/currentform.html Great comeback today. Clearly just one of those days where we struggled to finish off the chances. Nice to see we are now 5 games unbeaten. 4-5-1 or 4-4-2, I'll leave that one to AP, I have every confidence in him. I am just a bit concerned about the number of goals we are conceding, it's a long time since we kept a clean sheet. Look forward to hearing the views of those at the game.
  12. What a heart warming tale!
  13. Current form guide: http://www.4thegame.com/statistics/league-one/tables/currentform.html Interesting how since they beat us we have won four in a row and they have lost four.
  14. I'm Drew Surman and so's my wife!!
  15. This is a shame. After what we went through I wouldn't wish administration on any club............................ ................ well perhaps one
  16. Kylie or Dannii ?
  17. 4-5-1 or 4-4-2 ?
  18. It's a good point St. Will is making and it's what puts me off buying a season ticket. Firstly I'm not able to go to every game and secondly sometimes I go on my own, sometimes with a mate and sometimes with my 10yr old daughter. I can't justify buying 2 adult ST's but would quite happily pay for myself and my daughter (12yr pair) and then 'upgrade' to an adult ticket on a match by match basis for my mate.
  19. It's interesting that we have already played most of the teams in the top half of the table. We are still to play Leeds, Norwich and Hartlepool (who are 10th). So in theory we have a lot of 'easier' games before the mid-point of the season. I think we have a good chance, if we maintain this form to get to the middle of the table by the end of the year. This will put us in prime positiion for a play-off place.
  20. Well SH, how was it for you? I was sat in the Kingsland and it was pretty good for me!!
  21. Have to say it's becoming quite Arsenal like the way we keep 'grinding' out the same scoreline: 3-1 to the Southampton, 3-1 to the Southampton
  22. And good typing on an iPhone
  23. I thought this was intelligent play from Antonio, the LB was getting really tight on him. The flick and chase which lead to the free kick for the second goal was great.
  24. I saw that Herr Liebherr was at the game again today. Once again I noticed him 5 or so minutes before the game stood up leaning forward on the railings at the front of the director's box looking around his 'estate'. I don't know why but it just made me smile, I can't help feeling he's absolutely loving owning this football club at the moment.
  25. Great game and a brilliant second half performance. Just want to mention a few players. Antonio was MOTM for me, was so impressed by the way he flicked the ball past their LB (who got very tight on him) and then beat him for pace, showed a lot of intelligence. Felt sorry for Papa who tried hard and actually pressurised the LB into making mistakes, he just needs to stop getting offside. I actually thought Connolly looked very rusty (understandably so), his first touch was poor on a number of occasions. But when he's back to full sharpness then boy have we got a bargain. The debate over 4-5-1 or 4-4-2 makes me smile, the great thing is that we have options! Best feeling at a game for a long, long time.
