You can sign 2 but have to release 4 - Who goes?
benjii replied to Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd's topic in The Saints
I think our priorities should be a mobile striker with a decent touch and a midfielder to complement Romeu. STRIKER I would release Long (unreliable) and Gallagher (I think he's got promise but I'm being told I have to release two players and if I release Austin I'm pretty short on goal-scorers if the new guy doesn't work out. Gabbi obviously is not up for release. Sign: Iheanacho MIDFIELD Release Reed and Clasie. I actually quite like both of them and I thought Clasie should have played more last season but they don't really complement Romeu, Davis and JWP. Romeu obviously needs to be kept and Davis is valuable to the squad. JWP has a higher potential than either of them. Sign: Ramires (persuade him that China is ****e). -

Yes, it would be too far fetched. There was no "Virgin Island holding co". There was a company in BVI called Vibrac, which lent money to a number of English clubs, including us. No one knows who owns it, so it could be Kat, but that would seem more than a little unlikely.

"Strike" is a complete misnomer anyway. He has no right to "strike".

She could just fast forward a few days when she's about to go on the blob as well. Time travel and that.

Couldn't get in the Palace team last year, could he? Can't see it, unless Long or Austin is moving on.

What's their away stadium like?

Fackin sideways, fackin **** mush. Get two up front, f'f'sakes.

Why do people keep misappropriating "Jihadi" on this forum? It's silly. Jihadi jihadists.

The bus routes in Rome are good. On some roads they have dedicated carriageways in the middle so always run promptly. There is also a decent metro. I wouldn't fret too much about location if you're on decent transport links. Main tips: - if you're doing a guided tour of the Vatican (which you should do), and you have time, visit the area the day before and try to find a good English speaking guide and book with them for the following day. Seriously, a good guide will make a hell of a difference and someone with native language skills and a sense of humour will make it even better. - same applies to the Coliseum etc. although I appreciate you won't have time to scope everything in advance. Just try to find a decent guide. - If you plan on going out for nice meals, do plan in advance on Tripadvisor. Italy has some of the best restaurants in the world and, pound for pound, some of the worst! - Go here: http://www.ristoranteadhoc.com/en/menu.html Have one of the tasting menus. One of the best restaurants I've been to. - If you want to cross a road at a zebra crossing, you just have to step out in front of traffic. They won't stop otherwise. - Try not to get run over.

I remember Brown giving our under 18s the run around in a cup match at SMS. I also remember him looking pretty average for Arnhem.

Is he "proven"? He's played half a season. Same as Stephens and I think the jury's out. Yoshida must be worth, what, about £30million then?
-
Why do people want to sign Ake? He's not what we need at all. I doubt he's any better than Yoshida, frankly, and at £20million he's a pretty crap signing, if you ask me. Defoe - good player but when you sign someone that age you are gambling not just on performance but on physical capability so a three year deal is potentially a millstone around their necks. Could be a great signing but probably not a gamble we need to take. Begovic - was good when he played regularly. Who knows now? Also, a bit odd seeing as Boruc won their player of the year awards last year. Would surely make more sense to sign a younger up-and-coming keeper to phase in over time? So, in summary, I think AFCB are doing well for a club their size but they shouldn't be the model for us. I want us to win matches in the here-and-now but we have been demonstrating over the last few years that signing players with future resale profit is a good model if you get it right. Of those three signings above, two will definitely not appreciate in value and one may well not. That can cause problems in the future.

So the best approximation of Labour's position seems to be to leave but retain the benefits? I thought that was the swivel-eyed Brexiteer, cloud cuckoo land, loony toon Tory bastard, "me little ol' kipper", hopelessly naive position?

Don't get me wrong, Tiss' is an awful book but if he's a Saints fan and 15 then he should read it.

Matt Le Tiss, of course!

You're entitled to your opinion and your last sentence is actually quite pertinent.
