  1. Top post.
  2. Cheers. So hopefully there is a clause for a January recall if necessary.
  3. I think it depends on the details of the loan agreement. If I remember correctly we made a loan where we couldn't recall the player for the season (Boruc I think, and we could've really used him because FF was out. It potentially cost us a top 4 place).
  4. Has he signed yet?
  5. Here's hoping.
  6. ... and none get injured. Just like last season. Oh....
  7. Because he plays for us, not Leicester. Ditto Austin, etc. If Gallagher does go on loan I hope there is a recall clause (if it's allowed) to provide cover if/when Gabbi and Austin are both out injured.
  8. Weirdly being the appropriate word!
  9. Problem is anything less than a 98% success record is below our high expectations: over the years Peach, MLT, Crouch, and SRL have set the bar very high.
  10. Wasn't one of the reasons for getting rid of Puel to make him and some of the other players happy?
  11. Well I for one think Lee Mason is an excellent referee.
  12. Maybe we've been rather harsh on Lee Mason. Seems like a good ref to me.

  14. Qualification is guaranteed, but finishing in the top 2 certainly isn't (home tie for the quarters).
  15. I see Mason Crane is not allowed to play today as he is on important drink duty for Eng. v. W. Indies.
  16. I too can't always get to see the match live. They say that "full event replays of select matches, Premier League shows and more." This seems to indicate that not all matches will be available on delay. Not sure I want to pony up $50 if that's the case.
  17. Which ones are these?
  18. I'll go for this.
  19. Corrected for you. On top of a GK we also need a first choice CB, unless VVD gets his head out of his arse (which is unlikely I think).
  20. Didn't miss by much. He must've had a few good ones in training to be given the chance.
  21. And that's the reason for having north and south groups. "The draw, which remains seeded and unseeded, has been regionalised to avoid a fixture scheduling complication involving West Ham United and Newport County, who have both been given special dispensation by the EFL Board to play their Round Two ties away from their home grounds." Wouldn't it have been simpler to have a regular non-regionalised draw, and in the unlikely event West Ham and Newport were drawn against each other, they would play the match on a neutral ground somewhere in between? Or is that too ****ing sensible?
  22. The world has gone mad.
  23. Therein lies the rub.
