  1. Pearson said in his radio interview that he wanted the job and thought he was going to be kept on but was never offered a contract. So Lowe needs to stop using the we couldnt afford him line to justify why he brought in a complete **** up of a manager.
  2. Happy Christmas fellas, we all might not agree on everything but we all care about the club and thats whats important! Hope to see many of you at the Plymouth hole where hopefully were get a win!
  3. Didnt Lowe give Dyer a new contract recently? Im guessing he thought he was going to cash in on him but failed. Ironic that a player he gave a contract to only months ago puts us under financial pressure now.....
  4. Hate to say it but he is an awful player and the team will not miss him. He has not played many games at this level and it shows. Whoever signed him to a 3 year deal is an idiot.
  5. awesome job steve, love the picture i can imagine the speech with Chamberlin as if it was Rupert "what i have here is a letter of authenticy from furher Wilde, in it he declares he is the ***** in our relationship and wont attack me"".
  6. you saying we couldnt do it?
  7. Unfortunatly we care to much to not walk away. I say it every year that "this will be my last season". But soon as the season starts that goes straight out the window! Right now we cant do anything. All we can do is hope the team start picking up results or it will get a lot worse. Part of me thinks admin is the right way to go simply because contrary to belief teams can go into admin and generally come out of it better. Hull are a prime example. Something like 3 promotions in 5 years after going into admin. Maybe the whole club being re-structured from top to bottom is the new start the new change this club so badly needs. The other way is we do well and eventually we could get bought out. But the way the shares are so fragmented i just cant see it. It is a very difficult situation where whatever the fans do sadly will have no change on anything. If we protest that could harm the team even more which ultimatly ****es us off even more. The only thing we can do is support the team. And pray that they make it to the end of the season above the bottom 3. If they finish below that we will be in admin for sure, things will change then. For the worst but maybe better in the long run who knows.
  8. Would rather have people who actually care about the club running it then those who dont. Plus add to that Crouch is actually a far better businessman then Lowe. He is one of the souths main earners, in fact he is the highest earner this year. Where as Lowe and Wilde are nothings. In fact Wilde will most likely have to sell his shares eventually due to the fact his company is in big time trouble. But that is just my opinion. I dont blame Crouch nor LM for what has happened at the club. We were in the prem league for so long that it just defies belief that when we went down we were left with next to nothing. I see that as our major failure. Not Crouch's 4 month tenure where he signed nobody.
  9. Excellent post Wes and i think it shows to those who are happy with Lowe coming back just what they have got. The fact we took down the FA cup photo of the 76 team to put up a picture of a train from Doncaster speaks volumes about Lowe and his agenda. As someone said it is surprising he did not put a photo of himself there instead. As i said earlier it has become very clear to me now Lowe has made every mistake possible and uses the financial situation to hide that fact, to make anyone who questions his decisions seem out of order. The general census i felt was Crouch and LM came out with so much respect and Lowe has taken himself down to the lowest possible level. It is no longer about his aims for this club in terms of getting us through our situation but about how much he can sell and how much he can sabotage. Make no mistake about it come May every quote he and Jan said will come back to haunt them.
  10. that actually looks about right!
  11. Add to that we do not play 4-3-3 as Chelsea do like they imply. Chelsea play this ---------------------Goalkeeper--------------------- Left Back-----Center Back---Center Back----Right Back -------------------------------------------------------- -----Left Wing ------Centre Midfield------------Right Wing /\ /\ | | | | Left Forward------Center Forward---------Right Forward As you can see their forwards drop into the wings when the wings move into centre meaning they always have 3 options. Either wing or down centre. Where as we play like this ---------------------Goalkeeper--------------------- Left Back-----Center Back---Center Back----Right Back -------------------------------------------------------- -------Centre Midfield---Centre Midfield---Centre Midfield----- ---Left Wing--------------------------------------Right Wing--- ------------------------Centre Forward------------------------- Difference being our wingers come back to our box to try and get the ball then try and run with it to the flanks. Holmes and Lallana showed just how un-effective that is. Their only option is to then hit and hope it gets to the only forward. Which it doesnt. So i do find it rather iritating that they persist with this defence of their system. It is a 4-3-3 by picture but that does not make it an attacking tactic as they suggest. Either way i think they look even more out of depth in this interview and the PR men are having to run spin as much as they can. Jan says we play like Chelsea and we use 3 up front because we dont know how to play any other way, then Wotte says we play 1 up front but you could say we play 3 up front... Sound clueless to me. Also love the "we play better against better teams". They really need to wake up and see nearly 21 teams are better then us and a fluke win at Reading does not make us play great against "the better teams".
  12. Yes you can. Or you can login with your account on their xbox and re-download them and play; as it should remember you have bought them/own them. At least i think that is right.
  13. Seriously that has to deserve a thread all to itself. Just cant get my head around it. You have to be pretty dumb to start a meeting with shareholders when you have taken the company to the worst it has ever been and read out a letter to start it praising how great you are....It just doesnt make any sense.
  14. i couldnt believe he did that, i mean seriously how dumb do you have to be to read out a letter basically praising his self written by himself to a crowd who want him to **** off? I simply do not have the intelligence to understand it.
  15. Agreed. Better then what any of us came up with which was nothing. Bet Lowe is reading this forum feeling really in his place...
  16. Firstly well done to those who attended you did the club and area proud. Better then a lot of people on here who have no connection to the club other then this board but like to think they know whats best. Secondly those people standing up for the Lowe side and slagging off Crouch need to ask themselves a long hard question "what am i doing to help?", because as far as i can see **** all. Right now we have Lowe and Wilde that have now taken this club to its worst place in its history, we are in the worst state since we have been in the leagues since the 20's. Coming out and saying Crouch is to blame for his 4 month tenure is ****ing disgraceful and whoever thinks that seriously thinks that is deluded. The people *****ing were the same people *****ing when Crouch had to deal with the aftermath of Lowe/Wilde and their cronies and had no financial say whatsoever. But when the shoe is on the other foot and it is Lowe who does it then it is "ok"? Get real. Today showed me that we have two camps. Those who genuinly care so much about this club and its future that they simply cant stand it no more. As much as Chorely is a tit at least he showed what the MAJORITY feel. Throwing coins at Lowe to the average forum goer will be seen as a stupid gesture once again made by a fool. But he did it because he cares about the club, i think all of us feel that way. The second camp you have is the Lowe camp. A camp that said they could do better then the previous board and came back to show that they could. 6 months later they have taken us to the brink of destruction both on and off the pitch. They are the camp who do not care about the club one bit, they care about their investment. People like Crouch will put their hand in their own pocket and lose money simply to try and help the situation. Would Lowe and Wilde do that? No. This club is run by people who have only their interests at heart and not the clubs, that to me today was made very clear. The club will head into oblivion now and as others have mentioned i feel sorry for Jan as he is just a scape goat.
  17. lose at Plymouth and Jan/Lowe and Wilde will have the title of having the worst sequence of results in our clubs history. As much as i would love to believe the entire 32k are going to watch us and cheer us on i somehow think not. I think a very large % of that crowd are going for the first time in years and are not staying away because of Lowe or anything like that, more to do with the fact they want to watch the european and english league champions. If we had been drawn against Maccesfield would we have had a full house? If we had been drawn against Wolves? Nope. It is nothing to do with peoples opinions on Lowe simply down to wanting to watch United.
  18. Have to agree he does/has said the same thing all season. It is now at the point where i actually wonder if he knows it is his job to make the players motivated/want to win etc.. He talks as if he has no control of it and that makes me believe even more maybe he has now lost the dressing room. How long can he come out after every loss/draw saying what he is saying? If we lose to Plymouth i expect him to resign. That would be the worst sequence of results in this football clubs history. If any of us performed like that in our jobs we would be sacked.
  19. a new classsic on todays OS about Jan standing firm He says in the last bit "We were leading the game without creating too many chances but then we went behind"...... hmm a phantom goal perhaps?
  20. Can't make it but wish i could Would be great if someone can ask "Is employing Jan and his 5/6/7 dutch coaches, plus having Gasmi,Robertson,Peckhart,Smith,Forecast,Wotten,Pullis,Svensson etc.. and Lowes wages more cheaper then having Crouch/Pearson and keeping one of the strikers we sent out?"
  21. all i understood was "the boysh are good boysh but they wernt motivated, they didnt want it, that is football, not my fault"
  22. that Pearson fella. oh wait....
  23. would take Peter Crouch over Wilde and Lowe to be honest
  24. If you look at the 13 games before Pearson arrived you see we got 7 points from 39 on offer. That is games from under Burley and Dodd and Gorman. If we continued that ratio into the last 13 games of the season we would of been down. Pearson then got 16 points from his 13 games. An increase in points by over 50%. Did that with a major injury crisis, losing 3 of our main players as they were loaned out etc.. etc.. Pearson did not nearly take us down, he kept us in the league and stopped the massive slide we were on. The points ratio shows that. Add to that fact in those 13 games we had to get something from 3 of the playoff teams with 1 of those away to the team who went up. We lost only 3 games under Pearson where as we have lost 12 games already this season.
  25. Was at both games and would say they both were the same. None of the players gave a ****, managers didnt have a clue, played an awful team and got clearly beat. As much as i want to defend the team today they dont deserve it. They are equally as bad and the manager is worse imo.
