By far the better team. Lot's of neat passing and movement. JWP was my motm, sort of like Beckham cross Scholes. Some quality crosses and passes. Should of had a penalty near the end and again the officials fail to give a decision in our favour. Only negative in my view was Lambo. Didn't hold the ball up or offer anything up front. Maybe was just an off day but I can't see MP being happy with that performance from him. Just looked tired and not with it.

Glasgow's not singing anymore, Glasgow's not singing anymore! What a cross by JWP

Lambert having a mare so far. Put Gaston on at HT IMO.

But they don't get the ball...pressing is one thing, getting and keeping the ball is something else.
-
Jesus you really do spout some rubbish. We have 70% possession according to BBC. Stoke have hardly touched the ball in the lat 10 mins.

Domination now

Because it is unrealistic? Find some players who cost £12m that scored 20 goals in the league in their first season. I imagine there will be none. 10-15 goals is far more realistic.
-
Torres cost Chelsea £40m and has scored 15 league goals in 4 years. Carroll cost Liverpool £35 and scored 6 goals. Think it is safe to Glasgow is talking ******** again.
-
Thought he has only played 6 games for us? So if he goes on a run of bad games you and your posse won't be saying you told these people so right? I think even you Glasgow realise this thread is pretty embarrassing. It reminds me of the threads that Turkish put up at the start of the season saying we had not won in three games. To be making threads like that so early in the season when we have many new players is a joke. He had a poor game at the weekend. I was at the match. But in my opinion Rodriguez and Lambert (when he came on) were slightly worse. Osvaldo at least tried a few things, granted they didn't come off but you can see he has the self belief to try those things and on another day they pay off and we call him a genius.

If this is a club vs country argument then I pick my club. I have more connection to my local area then I do nationally. Could not give a crap about being patriotic or anything like that because it is only a game of football. International football is below the standard of club football. The problem with the England team is it has been a closed club for way too long where players who are not playing well will get picked based on their name. Hart has been playing gash for months but will always be picked. It should be about who is playing well right now. England is more about money/image then being successful. Look at what happened with Townsend and SRL, two players who gave it their all and looked the better players on the night. But soon as the injured players return i.e Rooney, Theo they will be out. Imagine a team full of people who want to wear the shirt and will give it everything. When that happens then people might be interested in the national side again. In a ****ed up way us losing might actually benefit the team in the long run. If we go out then Gerrard, Lampard, Carrick, Cole etc would be done. The so called golden generation that didn't produce anything will be replaced. And personally I think that is what needs to happen. If we limp through into the world cup with the same players from the last one but older the same thing will happen again. We couldn't beat USA or Algeria...

Joe Hart needs to be dropped. Especially based on his last few games. Him and Cleverly have to be among the most over-rated players right now.

I think that was different to be honest. We were not in the PL, we didn't have the players we have now and the player wanted to go. When a player wants to go there isn't much you can do about it. Shaw is going to be a quality player and big teams will always try to buy those kind of players. Eventually he will go as he will want to play in the CL. But I can't see it happening for another 5 years unless we get relegated.

I am all for this kind of thing if they get paid for the work at minimum wage and they can actually do the job. But I am more for politicians having to make cut backs because every time I read these things it stinks of being hypocritical. First up the second house fund has to go. Why do these people need a second house at our expense? How about buying a block of flats and get them all to stay there? Second up is Additional Costs Allowance (ACA) - paid to reimburse Members for necessary costs incurred when staying overnight away from their main home. Sort of linked to the first one but how about instead of giving them 5 star hotels they stay in B&B or a travel lodge? Third up is hiring of chauffeurs to take them around. Maybe give them a bus pass? Then there is the utilities fund. They are re-imbursed for electricity and water bills. Shouldn't this be coming from their own salaries like everyone else? There are a whole load of other things MPs claim such as a tv licence. Again shouldn't they be paying that? And my favourite one is that they get paid £400 a month for....food....http://www.frostmagazine.com/2012/11/politicians-get-400-per-month-food-allowance-while-families-go-hungry/ again isn't that what their pay is for? Like I say I am all for this but I think it is time MPs realised that their pay should be used to pay for their lifestyle, their homes, their bills and everything else. Talking about people being scroungers or whatever is a joke when you see what they charge us for.

You implied that people shouldn't keep talking about things that happened when NC and Markus walked into the club. It is repetitive and tedious. I said if we were playing badly some posters would repeat things i.e if xyz had not been sacked, if xyz had not been signed and so on. You said that it would be in the here and now meaning it would be current and not the past. Hence why I said are we not doing well right now then? Meaning if we are doing ok right now is it not right that people talk about it? He pointed out that we are currently 4th in the PL. Which is the 'here and now' no? If any of that makes sense....
-
Are we not doing well in the here and now then?
-
If we were doing badly I am sure a lot of you would 'repeat' the same thing......
-
Deserves every penny of it. It doesn't matter if sacking him was right or not it was the way we went about it that ****ed me off. Deserved to be treated better for what he had done here. But we now move on.

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11661/8937368 "Adam Lallana was thrilled to see Southampton's game plan 'executed brilliantly' as they overcame Liverpool at Anfield. The Saints brought the Reds' unbeaten start to the season to an abrupt halt as they left Merseyside with a 1-0 victory. Mauricio Pochettino set his side up to press from the front, preventing Liverpool from playing their way out from the back. He got his tactics spot on, with Liverpool drawing their first blank of the campaign as they toiled for long periods. Lallana said afterwards: "They are a team like us who like to play out from the back and we just played a high-pressing game and felt we won the ball back in areas where we could affect the game. "We wanted them to play it long. "It's credit to the staff, the players and everyone who works at the club. "We worked hard on our game plan all week and we executed it brilliantly. "The last 10 or 15 minutes get a bit edgy when you're winning. You tend to drop off a little bit deeper and people get tired. But I don't remember them having a serious chance." Does not really read like an unhappy person tbh. File under trolling exhibit B
