What plan/proposal, other than asking the other two to put money in, too?
-
Exactly. And perhaps no-one ele will want to either
-
It depends which Jason turns up for duty. Mr Consistent he ain't!
-
He offered to raise part of it knowing that the other two couldn't match it. Just the same as they said the club's yours for £6mill, because they know he can't raise it either. Silly old men playing games, I'm afraid

Here's a question for all the Lowe loathers. What if there isn't an alternative to Lowe and Wilde? Crouch clearly can't raise the funds. There doesn't seem to be a queue of eager buyers out there for us, or for any of the other thirty clubs up for sale. So, do we want to see relegation and administration with the prospect of the club being asset stripped and quite possibly liquidated just for the petty pleasure of old Rupes losing a hundred grand or two? And is the prospect of accepting that what we have is the best we're going to have for the time being at least so terrible that you'd wish for the club's demise? I am not a Lowe luvvie, I just think that all these money-men use football clubs for their egos and to compensate for other deficiencies, and if the marchers get their wish the best they are likely to get is a Lowe-clone in his place. Were Crouch, or the seventy-two other football league chairmen for that matter, ever THAT different? Personally, I've never seen one of them that I'd like to share a pint with.

Always was an Rse - and looks like a pervy scoutmaster, too

Interesting perspective from Swansea - sounds a bit like one of ours Btw - who were the two people who voted for Lallana as Man of the Match, and were they actually present?

Not impressed with Wotte "Fans are very easy with their judgement"

Alpine Saint re Wotte: In a way, I quite dig the no-nonsense "I'm the boss" attitude he appears to bring bringing to the role Bl00dy hell! That was verging on the positive. I strongly recommend a little lie down -
This "Dont protest during the game" malarkey

I've got an idea - why don't we all go along and support the team like yesterday and help in the fight against relegation. That might make things better..... -
How about option e) actively counter-productive

Can anyone imagine being trapped on a desert island with Alpine Saint, Stanley & SaintRobbie. You'd just have to walk off into the sea to put yourself out of their misery, wouldn't you?

My player ratings Davis - 5.5 - at fault for the second goal & not particularly dominant in his box James - 5 - not his best game after improving lately Molyneux - 4 - looked nervous throughout & it was a silly sending-off Saeijs - 7.5 - he's big and ugly & does exactly what it says on the can Perry - 7 - looks a better player alongside the above Surman - 7 - always tries hard even when it's notworking for him & a lovely through ball for the equaliser to remind us what he's capable of Gillett - 6 - worked hard but needs to learn his limitations Wotton - 8 (MoM) - Nothing pretty but if Franny was re-incarnated as a central midfielder this would be his physical manifestation. Knows his limitations but tackled and hustled and blocked heroically. Just the sort of man for a day like this Lallana - 4 - Oh dear, what has happened to him. Not helped by seemingly unsure of where to play, but still, oh dear.... McGoldrick - 6 - never looked like scoring but worked hard for the team throughout. It's seem as if a weight has been lifted from him playing with a striking partner Saganowski - 7.5 - Two goals and plenty of effort. Like all great poachers he never looks like a getting a goal until he does & he might yet save us Euell - 6.5 - a surprisingly good combative display MacLaggon - looked a bit lightweight and Dyer-like at times but he was left chasing lost causes most of the time because we were a man short Schneiderlin - 5 - made more of an impression than Lallana Wotte - 7 - couldn't really fault his selections/substitutions or how well the players worked for him Ref - 7 - Let it flow well & couldn't really argue with any of our cards Overall - 6 - sadly the truth is that Swansea were better player-for-player than us and only our spirit earned us a draw
-
I pity Mrs Alpine Saint (if there is one). You are the most relentlessly gloomy person I have ever encountered in my whole life. It was a good game, a brave effort & I'm glad I was there
-
He does tend to drift across, but I still think he's OK, particularly going forward. He might be better utilised as a right sided midfielder but think back to good old Jermaine last season - he's certainly no worse & though I didn't think he was great today he was up against a good & confident attacking team & he didn't look out of his depth

The official Rudi Skacel departure announcement SWEEPSTAKE!

Tuesday 11am - I'm totally committed to Saints... I never wanted to leave... Excited by new manager.... Want to help save us from relegation.... bullsh1t....bullsh1t.... bullsh1t (or nobody out there seems to think I'm half as good as I think I am.... I can't live on two grand a week.... I'll sit it out till the summer.... What do I care about the consequences for the club....) -
Have you seen either of them play this season?
-
Form is temporary but class is permanent. And Dyer ain't got none. Sell him while he's having his 3 good games a season. (Btw, I read somewhere that the Sheff Utd loan was with a view to a permanent transfer, but they obviously didn't fancy it)

Yes - because he wanted to break into the Czech squad for Euro 2008 &^ nobody would buy him / match his salary

it's all gone quiet on the transfer ...

The resaon he never got to play left midfield was because after Burley splashed out all that cash on him he remembered he had somebody better - Surman - to play in his favoured position & Skacel slipped behind him in the play-off season & he was never more than mediocre in the games he played last season. His opinion of himself is seemingly only matched by those who rarely/ever saw him play. Sure there were some good moments but they were few and far between in my experience
-
Personally I would be delighted to see both Dyer and Skacel go - two more overhyped and overrated players I'd struggle to think of (oh, except BWP & Euell) & we might just raise a bit of desperately needed folding stuff

Quote from Swansea camp I think answers all the questions: "We would like to keep Nathan permanently," Martinez admitted. "But it's not down to us. Any deal depends on the parent club and the player's wishes. "We spoke to Southampton when Nathan joined us on loan about a permanent deal, but we'll have to wait and see. At the moment he is definitely with us until the end of the season so there is no pressure to do anything in this window."
-
OKay, what and when?

Have you ever, ever had anything positive to add to any discussion?
