  1. Stick with the same team. Gazza might make mistakes at times, but he makes some great saves and its clear he has talent. The defence has impressed me with Shaw's defending and the Fonte/Yoshida and Clyne/Puncheon partnerships. Think we could get something out of this game, a draw would be very nice, but we need to stop Suarez (CHEAT) and Gerrard (less of a CHEAT but still a CHEAT)

  3. Would you? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VUcfxJ2X5mQ
  4. Proud to be English! Though would like to have a posher accent, foreign girls love a posh English accent.
  5. Whoever did the current one should also do the next statue, coming to the question: Which Saints legend should be next to have a statue? Lawrie Mac? MLT?
  6. I wouldn't leave Ramirez out of the line up and being a professional PL football club I sure we have conditioning and medical staff who know how to prepare the players for 3 games in quick succession. Shaw would probably start all 3 with Fox coming on with about 20 minutes left to play.
  7. Same team, same tactics, but the defence and goalie must be at their best with Cisse, Ba and Cabaye. Very much looking forward to this one, as it will be my first game this season.
  8. Over the last few weeks we have been linked with several players we are supposedly interested in/going to purchase in January. But which of our players do you think are going to be linked with other clubs in January, and with which clubs? I am going for: Luke Shaw - Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs, City James Ward-Prowse - Arsenal, Man Utd, Liverpool Rickie Lambert - Villa, Everton, Newcastle Gaston Ramirez - Spurs, Liverpool Adam Lallana - Fulham, Sunderland Jack Cork - Newcastle, West Ham Steve de Ridder - Belgium clubs Dan Seaborne - Championship clubs Richard Chaplow - Championship clubs
  9. Puncheon, Cork or Shaw.
  10. And breathe.. Good first half from the lads, only a little worried about Gazza. Impressed with Shaw and Clyne today and the way the team are playing, though QPR are poor and all over the place at times. We need a early goal in the second half and then see the game out, if QPR score I am afraid we might fold and lose. COYR and keep up the good work.
  11. We aren't loosing control of anything, or anyone? (not all EU related, but enough proof we need to change the rules to kick all these foreign criminals out, starting with this quatada bloke) http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2161912/Stop-giving-foreign-criminals-right-stay-UK-say-MPs-following-landmark-vote.html http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/immigration/9335689/Judges-who-allow-foreign-criminals-to-stay-in-Britain.html http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/immigration/9566479/177-foreign-criminals-avoid-deportation-on-family-rights-grounds.html http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/4000-foreign-criminals-at-large-in-the-uk-7754031.html http://www.metro.co.uk/news/110734-quit-uk-deal-for-foreign-criminals
  12. Just change the rules and deport him. Whatever the EU says, the French do this to remove them Romanian gypsies, we can do the same to remove someone who promotes hate. (Better still, get out of the EU all together)
  13. Shame about the individual mistakes, thought we played well. This performance should be used as a base, progress from here I we should be fine. Good to see Cork back and a strong shift from Shaw, disappointed with the result, but pleased with the way we played.
  14. Was impressed with him today, should start next week.
  15. The Netherlands will be at SMS for the Newcastle and Norwich game COYR
  16. Supporting Saints means taking time of work, flying over to the UK and standing in the Northam singing my heart out. Started supporting Saints at 16, after Strachan took over and we finished 8th and that amazing cup run (I know, I am glory hunter ), my mother would always watch the Final Score to see how Saints were doing and that got me involved, growing up in the Netherlands that was the only way we got to see the Saints. My granddad (RIP) and mother supported Saints all their life and have to keep the tradition going. Hope to move back to the UK next year and get a season ticket for the first time.
  17. Nigel Pearson in some kind of way? His contract wasn't extended, though most fans wanted him to stay. Pleased that Cortese is supporting Nigel, but he and the players have to improve their performances! And like said before, we need to improve the backroom staff with new experienced coaches to assist Nigel and Crosby
  18. I really want Nigel to succeed at the club, he has been one the best managers we have had in years and the football we played last season was the best I have seen us play (been a fan since 2002). However its obvious its not working this season, after a good start, and with the players we have we should be higher in the rankings. If the club decide to change manager this is the time, we aren't far of mid table and a new manager will need to get to know the squad and decide were he wants to strengthen the team, before the transfer market opens.
  19. 0-2 for the mighty Saints, first clean sheet of the season with goals from Lambert and Mayuka. COYR
  20. The defence is weak, but I think our major problem is the positions all our players get in when we lose possession. When our opponents get the ball the players look lost and don't have a clue where to go or who to follow. What we need is an assistant for Nigel with Premier league experience, someone like Lee Carsley, Ledley King or some Italian coach (they usually know how to set up a team) to work with the players and assist the staff.
  21. A leftback and a two decent centre backs! Bruno Martins Indi from Feyenoord would be a good shout, young strong CB who at 20 has already been capped for the Dutch national side, only problem could be that he signed a new 4 year contract in Februari, though Feyenoord do need money.
  22. In Holland players from outside the EU don't need a work permit to sign for a club, where as in the UK the player has to be an exceptional talent or have played something like 75% of the last international games for his country. The problem they have in the Netherlands is that they cant give players a contract until they are 18, that's why clubs in the UK often buy 16/17 year old players from Eredivisie clubs (who to date have all failed to make it into the first team of there respected clubs (I might have missed one though), with Jordy Brouwer and Vincent van den Berg the best example of how wrong your career can go) Ajax nowadays get lots of their youth players from Denmark (Christian Eriksson, Viktor Fischer, Nicolai Boileson, Lucas Anderson)
  23. This! Nigel might have made some mistakes this season, but so have the players and whoever decided to buy strikers and attacking midfielders instead of a leftback and CB's.
  24. No, we need pictures of Hannah Minx! could someone post some? (I don't know how to post pictures )
  25. Would like to see this line up tonight: --------------- Boruc* ------------ Clyne ---- Hooiveld ---- Seaborne ---- Reeves ----------- Cork ------- JWP ------------ De Ridder ------ Guly -------- Lee -------------- Mayuka ------------- Subs: Davis, Chaplow, Yoshida, Shaw, Lallana, Rodriquez, Chambers or Moore * Boruc to play to get more match fit, however depending on the ''bottle incident'', if the club decide to take action against Boruc then have Gazzaniga play.
