Levy is one under pressure at Spuds at the moment. Spurs supporting work colleague of mine told me that many "Levy Out" banners were confiscated at the gate on the way in, and that the resounding boos once the match had finished (and another home defeat against boring Stoke) were drowned out by the PA music being turned up to full blast... So while the pressure on Potch is there from the Spuds faithful, you can multiply it by 1000 to gauge the pressure on Levy. Desperate man perhaps - Will he fire another coach or offer £20m on a player just returning from a serious ACL injury - probably both TBH!

First game I have seen at home this season (having moved to Hertfordshire) so the first time I have seen Alderweireld play in the stripes. You are absolutely right, his defending is class but his distribution is amazing - What a great player. In saying that, I personally would give the MOTM just to Big Vic - He was immense in the midfield. Great day though, it took us a while to work out how to play through a parked bus but Shane made the difference when he came on with 2 great goals. Just loving this time.

I agree. I was wondering whether one of the reasons might be that most of the so called "big clubs" have been abjectively useless in the CL this season, and their usual platitudes and fawning of them will cut no ice with their readers. It just might be that they are turning their attention to some who are not trying to buy the world, but to build sustainably and might just perform better on the European stage - Perhaps asking... Can they, might they, dare they break through!

The first big staement of intent was securing RonKo as manager - From that we have re-built an impressive squad which on its day can compete with any team in this division. Very happy with everybody at the club, and the effort put into the Saints re-build despite some tough times from some who's head went missing to other parts of the country - mainly on the Mersey! Well done to all involved.
