This is the second match in a row JWP has been shoe horned into the side. To be fair losing Valery to illness and Vestergaard weren’t ideal.
-
Didnt RH say McCarthy had a small injury problem during the week ?

Lawrie lives in Romsey

Sunderland home to the blue few on 27 April. That will sort things out.

If Brighton lose at home to Cardiff they deserve to go. I mean who the hell loses at home to Cardi........oh
-
Brighton kind of slipped under the radar for me. I was looking at Burnley’s remaining fixtures after the Cardiff game as I’m not sure they will get anymore points. But for Burnley before Saturday now read Brighton before Tuesday. Fail to beat Cardiff and they might beat Newcastle but I can’t see them get anything against the other three.

That “big lump” as you so eloquently put it had a great game against Wolves and has been pretty impressive since his error away to Cardiff last December.
-
Good to see Sims get a start but if that happens again I hope Romeu gets the start as JWP is not suited to that role next to PEH. I can see why Ralph went with JWP after his recent goals etc but he was bloody awful until Romeu came on and he moved into a more attacking role.

oh well that’s it then, doomed
-
So they are as good as safe, another team not fully focused when we play them.....hopefully

Someone rates this Wilson bloke, **** knows why !

Pretty fair summing up really and shows just how important Saturdays game at Burnley is. Anything other than a home win sees them in trouble too with those fuxtures left.

I didn’t want Liverpool to win it before Friday night because of Van ****, Lallana, Lovren and Klippity. Now I’m adding every fkin pundit who creamed themselves over Liverpool (with the exception of Matt and Gary Neville) esp bloody Carragher. I don’t particularly care about the rough deal we seem to get from pundits anymore as I think every team who isn’t top 6 does when they play one of them BUT that ****fest on Sky followed up by MOTD was beyond the normal arse licking levels. If we hadn’t over committed at that corner and the ball fell kindly for them I believe we would have held out for a point. They were getting increasingly desperate at that stage. Bastards

This guy Mosin makes me chuckle - it’s not Southampton it’s JWP FC And yeah he was pretty ineffective last night.....JWP I mean, not Mosin

For probably the first time ever I did exactly the same this morning. I mentioned that Matt, Thommo, Merson and Charlie Nicholas can’t do their teams games on a Saturday so why is it ok for that **** to do Liverpool matches ? It’s double standards. I wouldn’t have bothered but that fkin picture of him hugging Salah whilst holding a Sky microphone was just too much. Shouldnt still have a job after that spitting last year. **** !

I’m pretty sure I read a few years back that there was an issue between him and the club but can’t remember what it was.
-
You would never guess though
-
Carragher, Redknapp, Souness, Thompson - it already is Sky Sports Liverpool
-
Don’t see Armstrong in those training pics either
-
They do but all these games except Palace are away. In fact 5 of their last 7 are away. Burnley will be a big game for both sides, Brighton could be as well. They were unlucky yesterday, can’t despute that, but let’s be honest Chelsea were crap, they obviously hate the manager and only played for about 25 mins.

Best league in world but probably worst officials - Warnock
beatlesaint replied to John B's topic in The Saints
He’s absolutely right and I just wait to see whether VAR will really even things up or somehow help the big six even further. What I mean is how’s it going to work? Is it down to the ref when he’s not sure or down to off the field officials? -
well we won’t be playing with a striker, that’ll **** them up

Brighton 0 Saints 1 - Post Match Celebrations
beatlesaint replied to St Chalet's topic in The Saints
Its away to Fulham......so might be a bit tougher for them -
I think you have to play Redmond and Sims if only for the pace on the break and to push them back. I’m not sure Gallagher would be any good but if RH thinks he would be then fair enough. Not sure VVD will be having sleepless nights thinking about facing him though.

Biting your hand off for that.....helps us and ****s them up, brilliant
