The more and more I look at this stat the more and more I wonder.....WTF ? If you include the Cup tie where he came off the bench and scored he has played in 5 wins and 5 defeats so that says... what ? You might as well say that stat shows that Saints were crap until mid September cos 6 of those games only take us up to 15 September and of the next 4 we have won 3 !!
-
yeah, put him upfront. I would put Chaplow back in, he might be off form but he does get stuck in.
-
This reminds me very much of Bournemouth a few weeks ago. They built themselves up into a right old state.....and look what happened !! Same again would be lovely.....minus the Gobern Kung Fu impression of course :-)
-
Apparently he told Hospitality people today that he hopes to be back for the last 2 or 3, so a fortnight when we play Brentford I reckon.
-
2nd next Friday night would be even better :-) Come on the Dons !!
-
Incorrect, he came on in the 66th minute and with 5 minutes of injury time he put in that performance over more like 30 minutes. 10 mins ? Were you there today ??
-
Really ? He never gave the ball away once, he made intelligent runs, he made himself available whenever anyone was looking for an outlet, and he was comitted. The chase and block on their guy towards the end was excellent. I thought he was class and hope he can stay fit, he is more than an adequate replacement for Barnard.

Markus Liebherr Tributes / Walsall Game Tribute
beatlesaint replied to saint peach's topic in The Saints
great :-) Simplest one, says it all. -
Lets be honest, we were never going to win every game, we have won 7 out of 8, we had to lose sometime. Hopefully this will act as a wake up call and galvanise everyone to concentrate and not get complacent. It happened after Walsall beat us, I would hope for the same reaction now. Come On You Saints !

Rochdale V Southampton - First Half and Half Time Thread
beatlesaint replied to Saint_clark's topic in The Saints
Of course you got upset when I pointed it out after the MK Dons game....so how many times must he do it before you and others admit that whilst he is a decent keeper he has one almighty weakness....THE FKIN NEAR POST !!!!!!! -
The answer to your origibnal question Roger seems to be "no" - nobody has a clue when he will be back ;-)
-
I know, I just want this season to be over ASAP with us sat 2nd in the league !! I must say though delldays has summed it up for me, exactly what we need, the big margin of error....I know he is probably right but I wont relax until its confirmed.
-
The only negativity would be on here !!! We can afford to lose 2 games and still be alright, we cant keep winning, we have to drop 2 or 3 points somewhere along the line and as has already been suggested this could be our hardest game. I think of any points gained at Rochdale as a bonus cos we still have a game in hand, and i think we will get something at Brighton.
-
Rickie slipped a "simple as that" in to his interview too !!
-
Had it said "Games since a defeat" you are correct and it would have said 8 But it didnt say that.....did it ?
-
Absolutely......quietly take care of business, control the controllables and stay on the bus til the end of the road. **** the BBC :-)
-
According to Adkins Stephens would be "in the mix" for todays game. I would suggest that means he will feature on Tuesday night, possibly on the bench.
-
I agree, but by winning today we have taken the pressure off ourselves for Tuesday night. Anything we get there can be considered a bonus especially given we will still have one game in hand.
-
Didnt realise Rochdale and Orient both have to entertain Peterbro......i thought they had an easy run in......not so sure now :-) Rochdale could have a huge huge say in what happens, especially with regard to Bournemouth !
-
I just worked that out too ! 4 wins and possibly a draw should be enough.......
-
Harding and Chaplow back in, Lallana and Stephens missing (maybe on bench ?) - diamond formation with Dickson presumably playing left of the diamond. Butterfield back at right back too ! Lallana on bench, Stephens not.
-
According to South Today we are taking "just under 3000 fans" tomorrow ! Great research guys, you only had to check the OS where it tells you how many tickets we have sold !! Obviously dont want to compare us with the 16000 Poopey super fans who towed their caravans 45 mins up the road to Reading last week !!!
