  1. I’m glad the article highlights how bad Cedric has been. I’d rather play Pied tbh. Look at the stats - Cedric 0 assists all season, Pied has played twice and already has an assist.
  2. In the NFL, every single play is reviewed by video. Of course the pundits disagree at times with the officials, that’s sport. Nobody said VAR would rule out controversy. Shearer is an utter idiot.
  3. I really see very little there to be upset about. He doesn’t speak English (but is learning) so I’m sure when he feels he is ready and confident, he’ll meet with fans here. As for Les and Freddy, that’s a different matter...
  4. Is it Pellegrino or is it a Wilson/Reed/Black Box signing?
  5. If, and it's a big if, he is a Pelle type of player, then I think he could do very well for us. We need a target man striker (should have been sorted in the summer), players aren't often available in January, so perhaps this is the best we can hope for.
  6. For the average person living in Monaco, there probably isn't a big difference between 10 and 20 million
  7. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2018/01/17/southampton-look-conclude-quick-deal-monacos-argentinian-striker/ Given that no other Premier League team is in for Carillo, we'll most likely get him. Just hope it is very soon. It's nice to know that the club are "concerned" by recent results, no **** sherlock!!!
  8. Too many times
  9. Disappointed that we didn't get him, but hopefully he'll become a massive flop and it's one we won't regret letting slip away.
  10. And sacking one who has made an immediate impression at one of our rivals.
  11. That’s the problem... he doesn’t learn. We can accept that people do make mistakes, that happens in all walks of life, but the problems arise when you don’t learn from them.
  12. That’s the way it’s looking. The only positive reason I can think of is that the club are concentrating on bringing in a replacement manager and will bring in new signings once that is finalised. That might be clutching at straws though.
  13. I’m sure there was someone on Twitter who used to fly in from NYC regularly.
  14. Had a read on a Monaco forum. Seems that the fans really like him as a player but would snap your hand off for 20 million euros. Someone mentioned there that he has an injury which is why he isn't in the squad.
  15. If the previous round is anything to go by, we'll name a full strength team. Maybe if we're really lucky, a couple of new signings will feature.
  16. Not for much longer, not if they carry on like they are. They won’t go down, but only because there are far worse sides.
  17. Terrible recruitment Terrible tactics Players letting down the club (it’s not the manager’s fault that they couldn’t string together two passes in the second half at Watford)
  18. Hojbjerg definitely
  19. God knows what happens in training all week. At least against some of the bigger teams, a strategy has been implemented fairly successfully (Man Utd being the most recent example) so I'll cling onto that hope that we can pull something out of the bag.
  20. We have a run of favourable fixtures in late February/March, just when Stoke have a particularly nasty set of fixtures, so it's swings and roundabouts. After that we have a fairly horrific run in, but as long as we do the business before then we should be OK.
  21. I was thinking the recent one with his Leicester team. After all, many claim on here that we have a very good squad. All we need is a different approach from the manager.
  22. I reckon it’ll be Huddersfield or Brighton rather than us. Agree about Swansea and Stoke.
  23. We need to just copy Puel’s successful template for beating them.
  24. Feels like the Gabbiadini deal all over again. We won’t sign him until deadline day.
  25. Just what SMS needs, more tourists.
