When I saw this thread title started by Erico, I was expecting to read something about cross dressing.
-
I see him a a potential replacement for Fonte long term. A reliable player and always seems committed with a top attitude, could be a good captain for us in the future.
-
Can't argue with that. J Rod for Mané at HT please.

That lad Smipe looks good for Vitesse. He's everywhere at the moment.

Wonder if the fullbacks are being rested, are injured or it's purely tactical.

Well done Extras, top batting.

I've lost 5 a side games by similar score lines.

Aarcher, if you're still reading this thread we need a couple of selfies with #yolo #ladsontour #Thedam15 My only real anecdote about Amsterdam is from when I lived there in 2008. I was 20 at the time and the company I worked for sent me and my mates of similar age on a training course. After a few pints we decided to go and check out the red light district, from a purely architectural point of view you understand. One of our group disappeared at this point, then reappeared 3 hours later at the train station. We were all four sheets to the wind by then so the rest of us didn't think much of it until the next day, when I saw this fellar walking out of the bathroom topless. He had marks around his wrists and on his back which suggested he had been handcuffed and whipped at some point. I never asked what exactly happened that night but I never looked at him in the same light again. If you visit the same 'mistress' my mate did, bare in mind you may have to explain any injuries to the missus. Apart from that, enjoy!

I think it's great that people can drink an absolute skin-full and still have the presence of mind to inform the good people of Saints web. When I'm drunk I normally just buy a kebab and stand on street corners with my knob and b*llocks exposed to passing traffic. Sir, I salute your dedication!

Typical grieving Scousers. They're still going on about the Black death.

Given that it's the only 777 ever to have crashed into the ocean I don't think that was ever really in doubt. Will be interesting to see what, if anything, they can learn from this. Possibly the attitude at which the plane hit the water if there is structural damage to it but probably not a lot else.

I think a spotty teenage skinhead in a Kappa tracksuit with a can of Tennent's would encapsulate the vibe of our great city. Perhaps if there's room we could have a burned out Citroen and someone throwing up outside Bedford's place as the background.
-
Good luck to him at Feyenoord.
-
European injuries don't count for domestic games so he should be available.
-
Be interesting to see if Kane can keep his form up this season. Only 2 goals in his last 12 games in all competitions.

Dinner probably. -

There were arrivals from Bergerac and Malaga shortly before 1345. Perhaps more interestingly a Glasgow flight, but that landed an hour and a half before. Also there was an Amsterdam landing at 1345 so probably meeting someone from that. -
I don't think that's normally our game plan and especially not away from home when we're already 3-0. Some people seem to favour an attacking strategy with 4 or 5 first choice players rested. That's a dangerous game which could leave us 2-0 down very quickly and sitting rather nervous. Play a strong team, perhaps rest one or two attacking players but no more. Keep possession, defend with patience and wait for a chance. An early goal would be nice but a highly frustrating 0-0 (for Vitesse) would get the job done.

Our reserve team got beaten by Sheffield Utd last year, we can't just assume the job is done and put out a reserve team. One or two changes maybe but largely the same team as the home team.

Half the interest in the women's game stems from pervy men watching the likes of Sharapova, Ivanovic and Kournikova. The other half is legitimate enough but the women's game is comparable in terms of skills, even if the pace of the game is less. Women's football is just so badly lacking in terms of overall skill and pace, I just can't get into it. Even the semi-finals of the World Cup were worse than watching one of those FA Cup first round qualifiers which are sometimes on TV. If you're watching women's football, you are watching for no other reason than because women are playing. If that makes you happy then fill your boots but as a display of sporting talent it shouldn't be on TV.
