  1. Unless it's at Swansea in the FA Cup. He turned that game around for us from the bench. Wish him all the best, has been a model professional with Saints, no disruption, gave 100% and seems like a genuinely decent chap that has left us with some very memorable moments. £12m well spent in my view.
  2. We've signed a young player...a highly regarded one at that? Nah, don't believe it, surely Kerry Dixon and David Speedie are available these days. What's Dave Beasant up to nowadays? (to be fair, he was decent for us). We've already got hotels booked for next season in the Midlands and down Sowff for matches we can make and hopefully get tickets for. Please, please beat Forest at the Sh*tyy Ground. As ever, excited for the new season, hopes are high that this is the one that clicks and Ralph takes us somewhere! Welcome Gavin, our expectations are low, our hopes are high. Niemi is yours...and our benchmark, good luck!
  3. There's always one who has to bring it back to football on a football forum. As we only got to 1 home game, it has to be Villa, it was a win that we actually played well in.
  4. That poll is immediately null and void for not having Rammstein in it. Easily the best live band I've ever seen by a country mile. Also, Rage against the Machine, really? The most boring live band I've witnessed. Kiss followed them at Finsbury Park and blew them off the stage, another great live band that isn't included. Only my opinion, but I'm so right! 😉
  5. Wolves much better 2nd half. Think if it stayed 11v11 Saints would've been better as well and may have won comfortably. Looking forward to seeing Saints Women next season in the Midlands. Good, cheap football played in the right spirit. What football should be!
  6. Liking the ACDC half time music. Not enough Heavy Metal played at football. 😁
  7. Great to be able to enjoy a good Saints side live on the BBC. Great touch, composure and finish for the goal. Wolves unlucky with the red and think it will spoil what has otherwise been a good game of football.
  8. Cheers, we'll give that a go in the future, looks good.
  9. Go on, tell us the name of the pub. Interested in going being close to Leicester.
  10. Going to this game seeing as it is so close to us, got a 100% win rate this season...but we've only got to Sheff Utd and Villa at home. 😁 Not expecting much to be honest.
  11. Always thought we've looked better with A. Armstrong in the team. A bit like Che in that he gets in the right places for an attempt but just takes the wrong option. With more game time, I think he'll be good for us, but needs to be in the team.
  12. Said it before, this feels like the Strachan effect all over again. We were 4th at Christmas when WGS said he was leaving and we plummeted. We were a team in Jan, looking good. Then Ralph says he intends to retire at the end of his contract and we plummet...we suddenly looked awful. Can the players really be motivated by someone they know who is leaving? I feel we are better than the current position and something is holding us back. Thinking it may be Ralph now. Like him and think he's been good for us but a change is now needed. Is Hoddle available? 😉
  13. I'm never going to win one of those signed shirts and I convince myself we're going to win every time, 0-3, yeah right. Very disappointed!
  14. We seem to have been rubbish since the news broke about Ralph seeing out his contract and retiring. Is this the 'Strachan' effect all over again?
  15. Typical Saints. They do this on purpose. Following them is like the preverbial rollercoaster. Not expecting anything but a loss and they pull out a win. Lower expectations so people are surprised when it comes together. Great win, keep it up to the end of the season please.
  16. Floodgates opened, 4-0 now. 😁
  17. Can Ralph Hasenhüttl's men find something in the second half? No!
  18. Was about to post Saints to win 4-3 but even that's gone to pot. What is going on? We looked so good from Dec to Feb.
  19. Paul Telfer and Jermaine Wright surely. 😉 Alan Ball maybe? Though I never saw him play live, Keegan must be right up there. Even better for the Saints link.
  20. Disappointing but not unexpected. At 1-1, thought we looked good, not sure about the penalty, seemed very soft but there was contact. The Adams chance was critical, that goes in and we could've sneaked it, but it was not to be. Thought Long and A. Armstrong did a very good job and we lost something when they went off. Personally would've brought Adams on for Long and left AA on as he was getting into the right places. Really not sure who our best centre Def is alongside Sali?
  21. Absolutely woeful, glad tickets didn't reach general sale as would've gone. Very disappointing after the great recent run. Oh well, onto the next game.
  22. True enough, forgot in my drunkenness last night that he is also a d*ck. I'll remove that from my list. Such a shame as it's a great song and cover version.
  23. Poison-Look what the cat dragged in Alleycat Scratch-Cats got your tongue More importantly, surely Saints should be in Yellow and Blue regardless of being at home?
  24. Only just seen the highlights...not much more to say, being a Saints fan means accepting the lows and making the most of the highs. We're all of a sudden in an unexpected high (for the fans, we've had a few trailers over the last year's) so we need to make the most of this and drive this team on. That is the key, we're a real team. Really feel that we're now a full Saints package. FA cup win with Armstrong scoring a brace, that's my prediction.
