  1. Not really. He's 28 and has enjoyed a decent year with Saints. If he keeps it up, he could play against USA. All it takes is an injury to Pickford and McCarthy's in with a chance - just like he was here after Fraser's injury/drop in form.
  2. Hughes has only been in charge for around 10 Premier League games, darling. Koeman inherited a mess but was given the tools to buy good replacements.
  3. Crazy article though I’m not surprised with this fan base. Is it really needed just 4 games in? Who knows how well Hughes will do? So far he’s been infinitely better than Puel and Pellegrino since arriving. Dare I say on par with Koeman, who had a better team at his disposal.
  4. He got more points on his licence than the team got in the league last year.
  5. Start Gunn every week. Lots of huff and puff - got into good positions though. Both teams looked sluggish.
  6. Similar was said about Danny Fox.
  7. Tadic playing in a far worse league than the Premier. VVD plays for Champions League finalists. Good player but Targett won't be as effective in the Premier League - fact. Carillo/Seager - WTF. What are people moaning about? We've played Burnley (6th last season) and Everton (never win at Goodison). We will be a lot better against Leicester.
  8. Happy with Sparky. 2 games into the season, we always lose against Everton at Goodison quite heavily. We don't look THAT bad.
  9. Oh well - never win a Goodison. What changes?
  10. Yes I know. And I know this won’t happen.
  11. HITC is not a reliable source.
  12. Might want to check the Danny Ings thread.
  13. Good signing.
  14. lol at the Welbeck link. Come on guys.
  15. Do people honestly view Teamtalk as a reliable source? I was getting trolled by them back on Teletext haha
  16. Croatia to win 3-1
  17. “Friend”
  18. England are Saints under Pellegrino
  19. What prospective move? Neither party are/were interested.
  20. Luckily this place only represents a small section of the fan base. Wish this lad well. And if he plays with passion for the badge - and actually wants to be here - then I am all for him here.
  21. This place is boringly predictable these days. I bet this thread is identical to the ‘Bertrand signs’ thread four years ago. ‘Terrible signing!’ ‘Championship standard!’ ‘Reed out!’ ....and we all know how that one turned out.
  22. Hughes will be raging.
  23. Odd statement. It’s actually quite refreshing to hear of a modern day player to want to head back to his roots. It wasn’t long ago people on here were bleating on about Brian Howard “returning home”.
