  1. Surely Pellegrino is just one tweak away in the system to turning us into a deadly side. That is scoring goals. If that can happen, I'm ok. We're difficult to beat. You can't deny that.
  2. This game should be tight, which means it'll probably finish 3-3. Two of the most stubborn defences in the bottom half of the table.
  3. Genuine question. Can you tell me if a Prem club selling players to the same rival over just four years (Saints to Liverpool) is unprecedented?
  4. Our players are not good enough to play in a system like Liverpool's. That's why the stats are different, not because we are struggling. We'd be in a much worse position if we tried.
  5. Thank god
  6. Potter will fail in England because he won't be given long enough at any club. He's part of everything at Ostersunds - from washing the kits to going to council meetings. That's a proper boss.
  7. It doesn't sound too bad, does it? Is MoPo not getting enough credit? If we start being able to win games, will we be a good side? Or are we a good team already?
  8. You do realise the clown in charge fears winning?
  9. Wigan were excellent tonight. The focus will be off us for the tie but you've just got to hope we don't drop out with barely a whimper.
  10. Tbf I don't think we would've beaten any of the Prem teams left in it.
  11. Let it go man! Just cause Puel was nice to your mum at St Mary's once doesn't make him worth caring about now.
  12. Saints signed Beatts from Blackburn.
  13. They've been at the gym since June and still look like Rik Waller. And throwing out Carvahal-isms isn't going to endear you to anyone, MoPo.
  14. The sheer arrogance of the club deeming Premier League winner Pellegrini not good enough for "the vision" is why we are in this horrible mess.
  15. Who would take an FA Cup win and relegation like Wigan?
  16. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/football/blog/2017/jun/24/mauricio-pellegrino-complete-coach-southampton-manager "Southampton’s new manager, highly regarded for his man-management and tactical nous, obsesses about the damage victory can inflict on players’ hunger" And there you have it. A manager who actively fears winning games.
  17. Why even bother preparing for this game? Why are our rivals and relegation battlers looking like they can play and fight for survival? Dreadful.
  18. There is literally no one out there who could save us now.
  19. Deulofeu has looked good tonight
