  1. I’ve been hearing whispers Wenger was offered the job two weeks ago..
  2. Sounds like the ideal way to get the 7-0 drubbing we don’t want...
  3. Judging by how poor Swansea looked and how tight Stoke are at the back under Lambert, I cannot see the former getting anywhere near six goals.
  4. I think Swansea will have a hard time beating Stoke, who are draw specialists like us.
  5. Sad, excruciating.
  6. Absolutely. IMO, the club should've opted for Manuel Pellegrini after Koeman.
  7. 19 years ago today it was Dellhurst Park: Hopefully a good omen for us.
  8. You need calm heads. I don't think Saints have them. We'll bottle it against Swansea.
  9. It's the same for Swansea too. Form means nothing in these scenarios. Look at the play offs every year. Swansea will be as bang up for this game as us.
  10. Sterling's last gasp winner Watford's handball goal Everton's goal yesterday Three results which will see us go down. We won't beat Swansea and City WILL tonk us, despite Huddersfield's efforts today.
  11. No - it's certain because we play Swansea. They can't catch anyone.
  12. Saints are the more likely to be relegated as it stands.
  13. I think we'll go 1-0 but lose 2-1. Similar to the Radzinski brace against us in 2003. Two late goals. We have SUCH a bad record at Goodison.
  14. Wtf is this

    Wotte

    Are they still an item?
  16. Really sad that a lad's vlog has shown some fans up for their true colours. I'd love to see them get their mugs on camera.
  17. Bye Premier League.
  18. Guys, it's not Stoke we have to worry about. Swansea, Huddersfield and Brighton have the say in whether we stay up.
  19. Four games left - relegation is ominously looming. Most fans can see Saints in its current guise has lost its way. The 5-year plan from the Cortese/Liebherr days has dissolved and what we’re left with is a toxic atmosphere, sub-par players and a manager that doesn’t fit the bill. Assuming relegation WILL happen, let’s consider the following questions. What can be done to ensure we bounce back up next season? How can the rut be stemmed and we don’t free fall into League One? Do we have an ownership fit and proper? Are they in the best interests of the football club? Could the club face another administration as a result of relegation and not an immediate return to the top league? Is there a figurehead who can trust that can conjure an upward trajectory in the years ahead? Personally, although the passion is zero, I don’t 100% blame the players for this. Many, from what it seems, don’t want to be here and that’s fine. It’s up to the management and board to ensure they’re playing for a club with ambition, desire, and a plan. We have none of this, currently.
  20. long WTF - garbage, utter garbage
  21. What’s the point in this team? Worse than 2008-09.
  22. So the championship then? It won’t take long for fans to start moaning about the standard compared to a breakaway league.
  23. Very intelligent and grounded lad. Sad we won’t be able to keep hold of him.
  24. I got so much stick last year for my opinion of Puel, and then warned be careful what you wish for when we sacked him. This is no one’s fault but the board’s for not employing Pellegrini and appointing Puel. That really was the beginning of the end.
