  1. Out please.
  2. Sign Steve de Ridder
  3. Allegedly.
  4. Still think this will happen
  5. Well, that's the team he's gone with. Looks rough on paper but let's wait until 5pm to rip it apart. That said, if we're battered as a result, I think he should go.
  6. Puel obviously not the messiah
  7. I've said it before but I believe there is no togetherness in the team (in my opinion, of course). The same camaraderie exude from teams since Liebherr's takeover from Pardew through to Koeman seems non-existent and stems from the appointment of Puel. You need a cohesive squad to succeed however talented it may be.
  8. True BUT Nothing will change. Players don't care and the manager isn't capable of turning this team into winners. We've lost already.
  9. Yep, I was there when United sent us down in 2005.
  10. Going down boys
  11. I did. Reed looked good but has found his level. Maddison is a decent player too.
  12. I think Puel's been very lucky going to a team with togetherness. You could see it after their win last night. Plus Vardy, Mahrez and Gray are exceptional talents. Sadly, I fear there is discontent in the Saints camp and we don't possess anyone of the ilk I just mentioned. And I'm spot on when I say Puel has caused the fractious atmosphere between Saints players. It was the wrong appointment at the right time. Now we are paying for it. Football's a funny old game.
  13. We are in trouble.
  14. Don't get me started on Charlie Nicholas, who was willing on City to score.
  15. It's very common for players to do this. I've seen it a lot this season. I think they're drilled to do so by clubs to avoid any type of conversations being picked up by hundreds of cameras.
  16. We're gonna win this one. Anyone else have a twinge in their mangina? COYf***ingS Richard Dryden's red and white army, you fat bastarrrrdd
  17. "12 years of an OK career DESTROYED in 90 minutes!"
  18. Hows he been since? It's all gone a bit quiet.
  19. Gabbi will score
  20. This is such a dreadful situation. I'm all for a manager coming in to keep us safe but the entire foundation of our status will be wiped away. The forward march is over. It's sadly evident, and deflating.
  21. Really disappointed in how Pellegrino has turned out. I'm struggling to think of anyone capable of turning this around if he's sacked. It's very similar to the downfall after Strachan.
  22. Sorry, i've misread his post. Judging by the time it was posted, I thought he was discussing a board meeting later that day. Now I realise he was talking about what was said in the meeting. Apologies.
  23. This clearly didn't happen then, lardy chops?
  24. No, but managers moving between clubs is a different proposition to players, IMO. I totally agree most Celtic players would give their right arm, even if they were die hard fans of the club, to play for Saints in the Premier League. I think it's different with managers. Again, just my opinion, managers like Rodgers view clubs like Celtic as a career goal rather than a stepping stone. There is prestige to these clubs which teams like Southampton don't have, regardless of league quality.
