We undoubtedly need a striker but much as I like Danny and Charlie, you simply cannot rely on them to stay fit. If Danny was a washing machine you would write to Watchdog!
-
What is the point of getting rid of a bench striker who has fantastic pace, scores a few goals and is a good guy to have around the club? Can you put forward some suggestions as to who we should sign and how much they would cost?
-
It would be unfortunate if they were.
-
He is currently a back up for injured defenders; that is his current level. I hope he improves but reading some of the comments on here is hardly going to give him the confidence that all good footballers need.
-
The forum boo boys have a new target. Under Puel he had a good run and responded; he even scored a few goals. With encouragement and game time his confidence will grow and he will improve.

Hasenhuttl ...can we criticise him yet...

How many clubs before us had achieved back to back promotions from league one to the premiership? -
Parking for the football and parking charge notices

I have appealed again. I pointed out that the fact so many tickets were issued that night suggested that there signage was not sufficient. -
Quite a good session in the bar for Yoshida! Two or three hours.
-
It still infuriates me this refereeing. Not only did he give a free kick that wasn't he then allowed the free kick to be taken in the wrong place. That could have cost us our place in the premier league.
-
When did your old man go to his first Saints match? He must have seen Ted Bates play!
-
The old boy who sat next to me at the Dell when to his first game in 1921. He said that some clubs fans would sometimes welcome you off the train. He said you get get scarfs with Pompey on one side and Saints on the other because a lot of supporters watched both when there team was away.
-
Really good guy and emerging as a club stalwart.
-
I have sat in the home end at other grounds a few times and you just sit on your hands. I have not got a problem with people doing that but when they celebrate it infuriates, particularly when they are localised Liverpool or Manchester United fans who chose the easy option.
-
I am sure that we will try and keep Ralph but we should be realistic. Ralph will keep the momentum going next season, will be linked with a move to every big club without a manager and will eventually leave. I am going to be very bold and speculate that he will go to Man United. Ole Gunnar Solskjær is a great guy but no Fergie and will be gone by the end of next season.

Thanks Noodles - I think I claimed it was pitch black so the signs were not visible. I certainly did not see them anyway. -

I parked on the grass by the water. In fairness I always thought it was off but everyone else used to! -

I appealed and they sent me another fine but have appealed to some other organisation now. I should have taken photos on the night -
Not a problem Noodles the chap who needed a ticket got offered one in the Brighton end. He was semi neutral anyway.

Brighton 0 Saints 1 - Post Match Celebrations
Sergei Gotsmanov replied to St Chalet's topic in The Saints
Totally on the money. It infuriates me seeing our players get slated in here. The academy is one reason why we differentiate ourselves from the tedious top six. -
If anyone does have a spare Brighton ticket it would be fantastic. Will obviously pay.
-
A shame but thanks Ottawa

Did somebody say Murray was suspended?
-
Is that right? Extraordinary. I remember us being completely outplayed and when Cole scored waiting for the onslaught. The first goal I was so stunned by its brilliance into staying seated. Still up there with any Saints game I have ever been to. He always seemed to score good goals against the Geordies and I remember when he retired how good a reception they gave him. Good people, I respected them for that.
-
I would bring the other players down to his level
-
I am not sure I would agree with you. You have a settled squad that hopefully will finish in the premier league. Why not tinker with it to make it better than take a punt on getting rid of half the squad. Lets face it we are not alone in paying too much for ordinary players. Better the devil you know.
