If you can find one in stock anywhere, Argos are flogging off first gen Touches cheap. £148 for the 16 gig, £20 less for 8 gig. Bought one at the weekend. As far as I can tell, there's not enough difference between 1st and 2nd gen to stop this being a bargain. Unfortunately the thread about which apps are good seems to have disappeared. What do people recommend?

Than when? I'd say they are worse than they were at the start of the season. Injuries haven't helped (Lee Holmes has been a big miss), but we were playing better football in the first few games than we have been recently.

He just seems to gamble that throwing another youngster in will pay off. There seems to be no thought over whether he is doing the best thing for the player. Lots of our young players have been badly treated this season. We risk setting their careers back by months or years.
