  2. we need to win 3 of the next 5. that isn't happening.
  3. and huddersfield score.
  4. not sure one can asset strip well on a regular basis when ur in the Championship.
  5. yep. that game was played 16th April 2005. Game number 33. Almost the same as this game today.
  6. I conceded relegation after the Stoke 0-0 so I am at a point now where I don't care, only look forward to seeing all these mercenaries go and Championship football now.
  7. well we know about giroud... ffs 2-1 now
  8. brilliant.
  9. Game is live on Sky One for those who do not have Sky Sports
  10. https://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?59643-Player-of-the-Season#.WtE5PogbPIU a thread like this was opened 10 days ago. classic 9-3! truly no one else excels like he does in opening threads.
  11. I am presuming there may have been some Chelsea fans who have purchased tickets in our home end for any of their games against us at St Mary's, so that stops them from buying tickets in the Saints end for the game at Wembley. The ticket office will know exactly which customer numbers have done that.
  12. SALES UPDATE FOR SEMIFINAL A further sales update has been issued for Southampton’s Emirates FA Cup semi-final meeting with Chelsea at Wembley. Tickets will go on sale exclusively online at 9am on Monday to supporters who have attended ANY competitive fixture since the start of the 2014/15 season that ISN’T against Chelsea. For a full summary of sale periods and conditions, please consult the following link. https://southamptonfc.com/news/2018-04-13/emirates-fa-cup-semi-final-ticket-criteria-update-southampton-chelsea
  13. I'd say theres well over 7/8k unsold! What a shame. There is even a couple prime seats on the halfway line (in the £80 bracket).
  14. League cup final basically sold out at this stage/criteria set last season- ‘Members plus one home game’ Yet still plenty of tickets left! My prediction is game will sell out on the Friday, 3pm. If the club hadn’t faffed about and sold the tickets before the WHU game I reckon we would have sold it out- a fair few I know just can’t fathom spending near on £70/80pp when transport and food etc is factored in on these half-hearted players we have this season.
  15. Leicester midweek after the FA Cup semifinal, OR play it on Wednesday 18 (the day before). If the former as you say cannot be played due to CL Semifinals, then why was Serie A were allowed 4 league games yesterday on the day of the CL Quarterfinals- and one of those ties was a certain ‘Milan derby’. Swansea game on the Wednesday would have been better as well. Hence why above poster was saying that the fixture list could have been kinder marginally- which I guess has been by default rather than intentional. Still annoying
  16. Exactly I bet you had the club allowed all season ticket holders to purchase before the WHU game the sales would be higher than it is now. I feel like everything our club does is wrong these days. The Southampton Way truly dying.
  17. Interesting- what would you say to Americans/Chinese etc who want to follow Premier League football? To support nobody? In all honesty I respect our international fans who support us and not the top 4/top 6. As for the wider question, I think a father should do his utmost best to get their child to follow their club. However, if they chose to be a part of the glory hunting culture then that is their problem, and I certainly would never finance their trips or games should they wanna go watch a Utd or a City. And nothing frustrates me more than when a Utd or Liverpool fan talk about how big they are and how many trophies they have won, particularly those in Kent where I live who have no affiliation to the club- it is like they want me to suddenly change the club I support. Little do these dic*heads know that without the support that every other PL team has, it is the atmosphere generated by those supporting the smaller clubs that make it the package it is today. Just imagine if fans only supported the top 6 teams in the UK, there'd be empty stadiums everywhere.
  18. I am back down to Kent now following yesterdays debacle. I stayed till the final whistle, Long came over and gave his shirt, Bertrand came over, began shaking his head towards us fans and showed his disappointment tbf to him, then went in. Cedric walks over with his mates West Ham top on, after giving in one of his most shi*test performances. That crap was the worst I have seen in front of my eyes, having what has basically condemned us to Championship football next season. These are players just so shot in confidence playing against a team who was up for it. I did not understand why we were playing so deep, Tadic and Redmond were in our halves more than theirs- I think fans chanting ‘pass it back to McCarthy- hes open!’ summed it up.
  19. good. anyone should be allowed to pay football. only when they start asking for equal pay should any debate begin.

    Wreck it Ralph

I am still waiting for those 5 wedges. guy is the definition of corporate waffle. think that is why I am liking Hughes more tbh, only one who seems to just speak normally in the club.
  21. ******** typical. cannot attend it anymore. why could they not move it to midweek after our fa cup semi-final.... Also, how come the rearranged Swansea game hasn't been announced yet this has? So annoying...
  22. I admire the optimism!
  23. If you buy a membership now for both you and your son then you can buy on the 10th April.
  24. because some fans believe Saints will take the smallest allocation possible
