  1. Jim Branning, Abba tribute band, Mr Woo's keepy uppies, and Dennis Rofe working his magic with the cones (or was that at the Dell ?)
  2. Baz Dost, the Dutch guy at Wolfsburg, would be worth a look. We certainly need options up front.
  3. We do not have the squad for Europe yet, and need a couple of strikers who can maintain form for more than half a season. I think there are still some egos that will go - Clyne and Schneiderlin being discussed in the media far too early for the summer. I am sure we have sufficient expertise in the first team management to sort it all out, and I think Ronald is beginning to realise that the league is relentless. Players like Harry Reed are what make our club proud.
  4. Koeman will remember Olsonn totally dominated Pelle in the 0-0 at St Marys and we were toothless. A nippier forward line is required at The Hawthorns.
  5. Forster is a strange one. As someone who sh*t himself every time the ball was played back to Paul Jones, but had full confidence in Flowers, Beasant, Shilts etc and worshipped Niemmi, I'm afraid Forster troubles me. But the England keeper coach works with him on a daily basis and he seems highly rated in media terms. Maybe we just watch him too often !
  6. Is he limping yet tonight ?
  7. I bet he doesn't play on Sunday, he'll cry off injured during the Europa League game…..
  8. I think probably the opposite, they showed some minor enthusiasm for attacking when they had 11 on the pitch. With ten they built a two line defence in their last third and our disjointed forward line failed to break them down.
  9. Good interview, top man. Interesting Vilhena gets mentioned.
  10. For a start for those travelling up to Chandlers Ford and the M3, why don't the city highways folk change the sequencing of the lights on The Avenue at the Burgess Road junction to let the traffic out; and change the lane direction to open up 3 lanes on The Avenue to the major flow in or out of the city (like the Aston Expressway) ?
  11. Poch took over a team that struggled to come back from 0-2 at half time at , erm, Chelsea.............
  12. Ah, frite saus, my Dutch chums live by it.

    Italy

Lucca and Florence are stunning, but Siena is fantastic, especially around the time when the Palio is taking place.
  14. Probably because he'd already come off for Mane !
  15. This is what I expected to happen, and then led to no one closing the save which Shelvey moved into to score.
  16. Tidy player always closing down space and the opposition, he looks the real deal .
  17. Maybe a yellow but a red summed up the afternoon.
  18. Just back. Nice to see Corky mingling with the Saints supporters between the players' car park and Chapel entrance. One of those days, we were never going to score and the longer it went on, the more it seemed our luck had gone. Poor old Forster, from where we were sitting it looked like a routine save; then Bertrand to get a red for not a lot seems harsh. Bizarre afternoon best forgotten asap.
  19. The earth moved for us here in Winch: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-31009707
  20. This and Palace missing out the midfield and playing four strikers caught us out for the first 40 minutes. Us taking the led twice in such an open game meant we were playing the way Palace wanted.
  21. I'm with Papa Waigo,if only for that goal against Norwich in the JPT, the first thing to go right for the club in the new era (and for about 5 years). Although I accept Billy Sharp, Lambo, Big Wan and Pelle would probably be more sensible nominations.
  22. Another bonkers thread, like the Pelle one - do these people get to games ?
  23. What a bizarre thread, the man is pivotal to the way we play and is consistently involved in the game.
  24. Just a little reminder of our festive nightmare against the top clubs: http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/matchday/form-guide.html
