The Mirror sells twice as many as the Telegraph and nearly three times as many as the Times. The average Sun reader doesn't give a toss about it's politics as shown by Murdoch supporting whoever he thinks likely to win. What I find worrying is that the Star (is it really a newspaper) outsells the Telegraph, Times and Express. What does that say about the newspaper buying public?

There is some factual evidence to this. A recent study by the LSE using raw US data showed that IQ was higher in those with more left-wing or liberal views and fell as you moved to the right. They did the same with religion and found that IQ fell as devoutness (is that a word?) increased.

Exactly. Cortese doesn't need to be popular. He runs the club his own way and, so far, he's done good job. We're top of the league and playing decent footy in front of bigger crowds than some Premiership teams. If he's annoyed a few sensitive souls, that's tough. MLT is entitled to his opinion. Just accept that they don't see eye to eye, it doesn't matter.

Ridiculous amount of money. We had a village hall for our reception with local caterers. No honeymoon as all our cash went on buying a house. A girl at work got married recently. A lot's been written about Kings and Lords but this looks at the lower classes and the types of lives they led.
