To me if I was the owner Id be happy with Parsons for the way he was developing the commercial side
-
well at present hes a long way from playing with the players in front of him in the pecking order. To me it seems pretty obvious that he is not cut out being away from his safe environment (my opinion) A young lad having many different opinions guiding for their own agendas. If im correct some of his best football was under Juric (Man Utd away, I think Juric was maanger then)

Of course whoever is the manager doesnt get over the fact that we have no target man.
-
I dont rate Gerrard but I wonder if he has the clout that the players would respect and would we get some goodwill from Liverpool to get loans in.
-
An impressional young kid being guided I assume by an agent whose eyes I feel were not looking at what was best for the young lad. We knew he had trouble coping at Chelsea and came back, sadly that door is closed as we wouldnt be in position to give £10m back for him plus his ridiculous wages

Listening to the Solent phone in a debate, I listened to some of our fans, OMG what are they on, as for the one who went off on one and said MLT lol. Prutton came on and was saying how wonderful RM is and would be, I was disappointed that none of the people in the studio didnt pull hm up and tell him how the majority of fns thought about him. Itwas like when Hoddle was going to return, real vitriol. If they even consider Oneill for a second they really are not Saints/football people with any understanding of having an Ex Skate at the club and the jibes of Agent Oneill

Bit late with that one Turks, Still was confirmed in the summer and has been sacked. Keep up 😀

We must temper the great news that he is 3 years older and so not to expect too much

Oriol Romeu returns to Southampton as a free agent. The player from Ulldecona is back in England.
-
Yep, it showed he cares and why should he take dogs abuse. He also reacted when the fans were snging to the team 'youre not fit to wear the shirt' He rightly took offence and good on him
-
Im amazed you put 18% as imbeciles. Reading the nonsense online, fans who dont seem to realise that booing the team when its 0-0 how that effected the team who let a goal in within 30 seconds. The players were edgy from the off and were settling into the game when some decided to boo. I understand the frustration, but the team needed support not booing. This took me back to some of the saddest days I have watching the Saints when th fans were fighting amongst themselves during the DOncaster game. Made going to football no fun at all.

and we wouldnt notice his penchance of a leaky non exsistant defence
-
When he came on he was running on the wshoulders of their defenders and pointing for a ball to be put through, but never was he given one. I also noticed how quick he was when he went to chase the keeper down,
-
We dont know what was said to him but he should hae keep his cool, he motioned at the Northam as well. I didnt think it was right to sing 'not fit to wear the shirt' as in the last few years few have been worth it.
-
As the senior players are said to want him back, I feel its time to get rid of them as they have thrown other managers under the bus. Bad influence and only do it again.
-
Well we'll see , I cant recall who that was, must have been a top PL player asit didnt improve our results
-
With the position we are in,we are going to be back last Jan where nobody wants to come to us if we are in a relegation fight!!!
-
I thought the new presenter got into it a bit more and got the debate going. Need a bit more different views. Glenn is aserbic but needs someone to get another side to get it a bit more energetic
-
I think Alfie House nd the guys on Total Saints podcast summed this up brilliantly. He couldnt dive until the last second as there looked to be 2 players who might give a deflection. It does look bad I agree

So have you 200m to buy thy club? I recall how miserable it was going to games when the fans were turnng on Rupert, the ground was half full and it fed onto the pitch. If you truly believe that havng marches or not spending in the clubs facillties will help I feel for you. The more we spend the more the club have to reinvest, the fanbase has been buffeted by bad ownership since SR took over, I for one wasnt elated when they took over as I thought Gao Semmens did ok with what we had (due to China restircting money going out) We had a bit of a decent time the promotion season , although that was just ok apart from the playoff games and Wembley that gave us the warm feeling of success.
-
Are you saying he was at fault for the goals? FFS The 1st goal was right in the corner (sadly I dont think we have a forward who could place the ball so well) the 2nd was going wide hit the player and McCarthy was flat footed and expecting it to go in when it came off the post and went past him (perhaps he could have reacted to that, but still harsh) and the 3rd it was a one on one and they again finished it well.
-
We seem to have a fan base of self harmers. When will we learn that you cant keep swaping managers. Give Still a fair crack at it FFS. I always thought that getting rid of Puel was a mistake, and we have lost our way since

He'll have to turn to modelling
-
Should stop shopping at Temu
