CB very few of us know the remit he was given by Marcus. Things pbviously changed when KL arrived and was champing at the bit to get her money in. To me NC did some stuff that was pretty poor but also stuff that was pretty ground breaking stuff. How we had had all the players lifestyles constant, how they got the same sleep patterns home and away, and all that weird stuff that may have made a difference .One thing for sure the team doesn't have the grit and winning mentality that was being installed at the club. I didn't worry if he made ex-players and hangers on pay for their tickets, every penny that comes in ca be used to improve our team. I don't get the case that I go for 50 years paying fullprice and a bloke who used to work at the club who was very well rewarded (overpaid a lot of the time) then feels a right to a free ticket. Especially as most of them would leave at the drop of an extra fiver

why cant you share?after all you are making accusations about him.
-
well please tell me where something is there, whenyou are 2-1 up 5 minutes to go and you can kill the game by making 2 subs. Thus breaking up any momentum Watford had, it has been done to us countless times, and is one of the most obvious things a manager can do
-
Puel was wrongly sacked and the fans who think he is no good know SFA. All those wanting rid of him certainly were happy watching us at Wembley and being part of one of the best cup finals in years, let alone the start of making us a decent team again. Anyway it is history and pointless at picking at the scab. I feel cheated that I cant see how we would have progressed under him

Walcotts desire to play under Big Sam lol Ive never heard that one before. Walcott is just another who thinks about money first, all his clapping the fans and his perceived love of what we did for him, is just another bit of greedy footballers nonsense.
-
taken separately both statements could be seen as true, if indeed he does suffer with odour. If it was said and used as a slur then that is unacceptable

I wonder if in the boards former lives, that they were purveyors of milk and took so long in deciding what to do they invented cheese.

He did so much for black players, especially for someone like me, a white Southampton kid who knew at that time perhaps only one or 2 black people. I had the utmost respect for him and I always feared his footballing skills when he was against us. Sadly it was a time when the crowds would racially abuse black footballers and shameful.

Very sad, I know not a Saints player but he was hell of a player to watch
-
I was only criticising him as he is likely to be an Everton player lol
-
well he came on for Arsenal today, he certainly stretched the linos arm, not sure oppo defences though
-
I expect he was a Liverpool fan and the player he was talking about was VVD lol
-
to not break the game up in the last 10 minutes by using the subs is criminal. Every manager ,even Pep brings on a sub to break the oppositions play at the end of games

Roger East, lives in Salisbury, I think born in Romsey area.

are talking about the fans on here?

I like the Man City are playing the Sanchez situation, you know the terms sign or go elsewhere. Walcott is said to want to come back to Saints and so don't let the agents use other clubs to push up the terms or price. At the end of the day unless Theo actually signs the contract the agents have no choice, the player still has the ultimate decision. I wonder if Theo or his wife really want to live in Liverpool

Perhaps its done to us being battle weary. 50+ years fro me (I of course went when I was quite young At least in those day Ron Davies or Micky Channon and the likes were with the club for a load of seasons, so you really could have heroes , now? the kids have hardly got a name printed on their shirts and they are lining up for Liverpool

going on loan to Spain according to Sky this morning
-
Batsheyi (spelling ?) from Chelsea, would he not be a fantastic signing

the fact is that 2 seasons or more we have been short of decent forwards. Add to that we knew as a club the VVD was going 2 weeks before the window opens. That is negligence or/and complacency. I know our fans are the most understanding when the club is criticised, and they will make excuses for Reed and Kruegar, and Katrina as we for some reason have to thank them for all the glory years. They can swan around picking up their large cheques, but at the end of the day fans like myself and the majority on here have devoted years of their time and angst supporting the club. We are ALL being played for fools, due to our stupid connection to a BUSINESS that happens to be named after the city most of us proudly come from. Had the club been called Liebherr Fc or Gao Fc we would now be shopping elsewhere. If the people of SFc ever bother reading posts on here, I would respectfully point out that in the last 6-9 months I have spoken to a lot of fellow fans and they are/have fallen out of love of our once great club.

I still think Redmond should be up alongside Long or Gabbi, his pace and trickery is an asset we have not used properly
-
still good on you. The secret will be when to leave the wheel of fortune. You and Convict have been pretty good at assessing this market. I have stood on the sidelines naysaying and feel a tad jealous lol. 40 plus years of buying and taking profits have served me well, but seeing the % you lads have made is very impressive. I still believe you are buying air, but the worlds speculating day traders are loving it. Just be ready to jump off the bus while its still rolling, once it pulls up everybody will be getting off IMO

Coutinho tried, he was in the same position. Liverpool played itwell in respect they signed VVD and then sold the star. We had 3 weeks warning sold our star player and have nobody lined up. We did have Ralph come out and tell us that we are a small club
-
How did he fail it, not taking enough
-
boom boom lol
