have you thought that perhaps the fans overrate the players? I have seen too many unknown players come and dominate our midfield. LB is too slow to pull away from a defence, and our defence (except Fonte) is not that great, afterall we don't do that many clean sheets. As i have said on other threads, we should have cashed in on Ox and bought back Antonio and paid a fair price for CMS. The folly of us asking upwards of %m for a 16 year old but then baulking at over a £1m for a forward who has scored 24 goals this season. if a club came to us and offered sub £im for RL what would we say?

The highest paid team in the Championship won again, no talk of only 3 subs and how tough it is for you by your manager for a few matches now. of course that only is brought up when he is trying to deflect the attention from him.

Oxlade will not be here in the long term and if as some say we would get above 5m for him ,then balking paying just over a £1m for a forward who has already scored 24 goals in this league this season is laughable. Holding onto Ox was a vanity not proper sense in getting us up the leagues. Please do not tell me that the club have plenty of money, as the window showed to me we are working to a budget.
