yep I never get bored of watching that.seeing 6000 saints fans celebrating like that in the vipers den warms the ****les of my heart. It was David Armstrong who does the Radio Hants summaries who provided the cross ,for the younger fans on here.
-
good news then, although I was told his goal was a cross that went in. As I say i hope it was just a bad day at the office for him, because I wish him to be a good player.
-
All very well but I would expect a player of 19 to at least show something of quality in a league 2 below the one you are hoping to play in.It may just have been one of those nights, but for me I was disappointe as i would have loved to have reported better news
-
Sandwich saint thanks for time you took for your report.
-
I think if he is in Alps company he may well jump and not need to be pushed
-
not when Wotte has been manager
-
you could've have joined in earlirer in fact you should of and we would of replied. To have done so would have been so much better.

The Luton keeper looked seriously dodgy.I agree that there were no shots for the keepers to make
-
I thought the Bournemouth fans were poor. The Luton fans in the main sang most of the game. I did like their song when they finally got a decision from Steve Bennett . 'It's a mir_ a _cle, its a miricle' sung to the tune of 'where's your mother gone' The overall quality was terrible and as for Lutons centre half he had to be plucked from a pub teams reserve side. The player who impressed me, was the Luton left back (apparently he is normally the right back) who only small moved to centre half and was good on the ball and intelligent.Reminded me of Paul Parker

if you are in agreement of course

NC you will get abused by your posts and at present you have had the dignity not to bite back. As for the para above I chuckled slightly as i was very much in the let GB do his job camp and so cannot argue with LC for keeping him here.Jan was a different proposition to my mind as he had a language, tactics, and motivation problem
-
I wasnt there as a scout but giving feedback to his performance on the day.He was up against the best defender on the pitch. The rest of the Luton defence was very weak.He stl shoulod shine and as a fan who wants to young players to do well was disappointed on the night.Yes it was only 1 game I also saw him play for us in a few games, I will watch his progress.

If LC was chairman would we have got more at SMS for the Man u game? Surely that is the damning indightment about all of our posturing.Unless we are playing against Man U or in the the top 4 we will have low crowds compared to 2 seasons ago.The fans on here in the main bleed Saints. We think that the chairman counts. It does to a thousand or many be 2 but if it is a case of watching top teams that goes out of the window. The simple fact is if we had somebody at the club who wiped the eebts and got a side together that was winning more than losing we would have gates of 22k plus probably closer to 25k.(considering the credit crunch etc) Whether it be RL or LC in the directors box it is success that gets bu## on seats.

Went and watched Bournemouth-Luton last night. In with the Luton fans (who were very good). Jake Thompson was very average to poor and was taken off with 20 minutes to go. If yesterdays performance was anything to go by he is not going to make it. We complain about the quality of our football but it was awful there last night. The Bournemouth fans were very poor, but didnt cheer(a few did) when our result at half time was announced.

The point was about LC not concentrating on finances. If the reasoning is get good players who will win games then we should go out and get kAKA etc and not worry about the finance. In life you have to budget to your means. We as a club have over spent and now have to get the books in order.not carry on spend spend spend as you become bankrupt.LC's comments about not being in financial trouble were the ones in question
-
he probably thought we had no financial problems when he was chairman last time.Im amazed at a man so good aty his own job could say such naive things.unless it is calculated to cause unrest and more pressure on RL to leave. the last thing we need saturday is fan unrest to make the players lose concentration
-
Seen the goals and thought Lloyd James cross was superb.it was nice to see the players celebrate with a real gusto as well. Saga took the chance well.I dont think he is the bees knees but will him on to prove me wrong." up front saturday against a good swansea side will be a real test. Here's hoping.

Askham is the biggest culprit in my eyes, from Branfoot to the reverse takeover. Wilde came and made fools of a lot of fans as he gave them dreams that were never likely to happen.RL is not without blame as well, he has let Jan go too long before acting.Me as a fan have a lot to answer for as well, my anti Hoddle stance was a cost to the clunb as I odubt we would have been relegated under.Saying that I still feel I was right about the principle but wrong about the end result.
-
There seems to be a timeline when he took over.Im not sure if he wasw part of that or not, if so yes he did that but he also took on some very highly paid loans.RW was not on a low wage.(he did a great job, but that is not the point) The club accounts do not seperate the costs when he arrived compared to when he left and so it is hard to see what he did to cut or increase costs. All I see is that we had massive losses and the knife was not taken to these quickly enough. Not only during his tenure I might add. I recall when Wildes bunch came, many said lets throw the dice and spend for promotion, and then worry.Well we are now reaping what we sowed (the club)
-
I think his girlfriend is about/has given birth tio his first child so that may be the reason
-
if that is what he said im sorry but it is madness to come up with claims like that. Yes NP is doing very well and Ihave no doubt he would have accumalated more points than Jan but we still would be losing at least 150k a week and so the finanacial pressure would be there. With a team thaqt was doing well we would indeed have had gates of 22-25k and that would add money into the club.Take off his wishing to look good to the fans and so buying/loaning high paid players , added to that him not getting rid of many as well and we wouldnt be any better off financially. RL has made a massive mistake in not replacing Jan sooner but we are not cut adrift yet and we have to hope things get better. LC's words do not help the fan as all it does is cause more division, LC come up with the money or stay out of the poilitics it is not helping our club
-
Have the former chairman of Woolies paid money back.It doesnt happen. Lm has made shedloads out of our club but he isnt expected to do either.LC is a fan and wealthy man, he would stump up. When the Wilde bunch arrived trant said he'd provide cash but that never arrived . Too many talk the talk but dont then walk the walk.
-
said we were at home tonight!!!! then it gave Wottes interview. It is the first time Id heard him give an interview and he wasn't too bad. He said he was going to change the system and spoke better English than Jan that i could undestand. I dont expect much improvement but fingers crossed i am wrong
-
It seems a nonsense.i heard a little bit on radio hants and thought it meant the 2 to walk if LC stumped up 6m.It seems not quite that way after all.

it is down to decency as those hiding are not fit to be seen
