I absolutely love seeing them lot down the road suffering again I really do. Buying their way to the cup final TWICE with a ridiculously expensive squad they couldn't afford, signing the likes of Jermaine Defoe and Peter Crouch, finishing high in the Prem, reaching the UEFA cup and absolutely laughing at us and taking the **** about our plight beating us 4-1 at St Marys in the process and yet some of fans feel sorry for these inbred bunch of ****wits having to go through this again?! I hope this is truly the end for them and they fail to escape the punishment they got away with last time. Can't see it happening though, I'm sure they'll get away with it all once again.

Bolt out of the blue just like Deano. RIP Speedy, thoughts to his friends and family.

Whilst I'm sure it got melted down I love the idea that maybe somewhere out there somebody has it in their garden as an ornamental piece and uses it to take funny photos such as cooking on the BBQ or mowing the lawn.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band confirmed as headliners. Very excited for this, only got into The Boss' music the past few years and kick myself for not discovering it sooner. Anyone on here seen him live?

I remember from where I was sat that day it looked like Phillips had been tripped as the Wolves defender ran past him, cringed slightly with embarassment when insaw it on MOTD later that evening though. Remember Beatts had been getting stick from the wolves fans with their " if Beattie plays for England so can I" chant up until he scored the pen and ran in front of them with the ol' cupped ear.

That's the one I'm thinking of too, was also live on Sky. Can't recall ever having a goal ruled out against Derby at SMS. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football-wrights-goal-touch-sinks-southampton-1201403.html

Can't remember who it was against but Rasiak missed a pen at SMS against someone and took about 2 goes at scoring the rebound, finally succeeding from all of 1 yard. Beatts missed in a preseason friendly once, not sure against whom but it was away, possibly in one of our Scandinavian tours. -
The "I thought Rickie's wide effort was going in" thread
bpsaint replied to Lighthouse's topic in The Saints
I was already jumping in the air once it had passed Harper, gutted it went wide. -
Could see from the Northam it was outside the box but thankfully for us the ref though otherwise. Fair cop IMO, as others have said the 2 pens we got made up for the blatant ones we didn't.

NA: "How dya like them apples you chimp faced c*nt?"
-
Just copy the one aimed at Alex Ferguson last season... "Poyet, you're a c*nt, Poyet, Poyet, you're a c*nt" Simple and effective.

Likewise if you'd been to that Newcastle away game, I've had some long depressing journeys home from away games but stone me that's up there with the worst. Jones was on borrowed time when he went on 'gardening leave' and things worked out for the best with Hoddle and Strachan anyway. It's the post Strachan decisions that cost us our Prem status IMO.
-
Oh for **** sake, you just know something will go against us now. Controversial decisions follow that guy around like a bad smell.

Wonder if they'd move that to St Marys for safety concerns should that happen? I'd imagine thousands of Saints fans would fancy it as a bit of a mini derby, and the skate fans would come in numbers as they'd still see it as getting one over on the 'fackin scummers'.

That video reminds me, it's about time I uploaded some more!

I'm probably mistaken on this, but I was under the assumption that Mike Ashley owned both Newcastle United and Sports Direct, so is the extra £8-10million per year not just going to be Ashleys money anyway?
-
Ahhh yes Mark Wotte, the tosspiece who froze Adam Lallana out of the squad as he didn't rate him leaving AL seriously down about his football. That episode for me taints any good he did for us, clueless ******.

Curiously Cinnamon, although I'll always call the by their original name of Cinnamon Grahams. Could quite easily munch through a whole box if I wanted to.

Strangest thing you've heard shouted out at Southampton?
bpsaint replied to ToreSF's topic in The Saints
Against Fulham a few years back: Announcer: "substitution coming on for Fulham, Collins John" Saints Fan: "you've got your name back to front you ****!" Was amusing at the time. -
The most embarrassing saints chants you have ever heard?
bpsaint replied to Roger's topic in The Saints
As embarrassing as the chanting of players first names was it still doesn't compare to the mongtastic 'easy, easy' that some fans have started singing again recently. -
Fair to say Chappers is going to be well up for this one what with the dislike between him and Fergie. I wouldn't mind seeing us start with the same team as against Boro. I know Butters was an enforced changed but he played well enough to earn another game I thought.

We almost scored two more near identical multipass goals this season, one against Swindon and Watford respectively. Some of the passing from our team these days is incredible, there must be some serious hard work going on down at staplewood. Back to the best goal at St Mary's, we all know it was that god awful penalty from Rasiak a few years ago
-
I'd like to think so, but seeing as National Express only charge £6.30 for a return to SKatesmouth I'm inclined to think the club are going to make a fortune from this.
-
It's probably the belief that every goal scored these days feels like one step closer to the Prem. Sure does feel better these days working towards something rather then accepting midtable comfort.
