  1. Think somebody is winding you up,can get one for around £160 with games on ebay.
  2. Brentford is actually closer than 4 of those 5 'local' derbies funny enough! In fairness to the team tonight they certainly tried hard, was just one of those games. All in all I've enjoyed this season, seen some fantastic games and have enjoyed being a big fish in a small pond for a change. Looking to the close season with optimism now knowing we've got a billionaire owner and no need to sell any players. Onwards and upwards,COYR!
  3. S****horpe reached the JPT final last year and still managed to get promoted so don't think we can blame that. My blame lies with the 10 point deduction more than the cups.
  4. With respect,if you think that wasn't a red card then i'd hate to see the sort of tackle you think is worthy of one. If he took a whack in the face he should have gone down like he had, not kick the other guy to floor in the manner he did. His petulance could have cost us today and I hope AP has a strong word with him.
  5. Just got home, what a fantastic day out! Incredibly my luck away from home in the league is that bad that today was the first time i'd seen us get 3 points since Villa away in 1999!! We certainly rode our luck,Yeovil had chances just failed to take them. I'd say we had the best of the play for the first 35 minutes then it swung in their favour. No complaints about Schneiderlins red card, he was an idiot for lashing out and it could cost us, especially if Wotton takes his place for the next 3 games. Thought Fonte was lucky to stay on too, from where I was stood anyway, some refs would have shown a red! Otsemobor was ****ing gash today BTW,hope we sign a decent RB in the summer.
  6. Count me in Mike, already spoken to Jason. Should be a plus 1 as well, maybe 2.
  7. Bargain... http://www.ebuyer.com/product/174130?hpb=1
  8. Playing Barca isn't that outrageous an idea TBH. Plymouth Argyle had a pre-season friendly against Real Madrid a couple of years ago.
  9. I'm with Stu on this one too, considering the resources given to him AP has done an acceptable job and justified all money spent. If we don't go up this season then I really think we'll hit the ground running and finish in the top 2. One thing I am confident about is that even if we do lose players then we'll bring in very good replacements. In fact come next season I expect our squad to be even stronger than it is. In my life as a Saints fan no other manager has made as many great signings as AP and I trust his judgement.
  10. So let me get this straight, just a couple of days after David James comes out and says their last European Cup run nearly bankrupt them, they now want to appeal so they can play in it again? Hope they win.
  11. Think pretty much all neutrals were expecting Spurs to walk it today. The commentator mentioned a few times that today was meant to be the game that Spurs couldn't lose.
  12. This is the attitude that led to a Pompey win today IMO.
  13. I very much doubt it, all commentators this season have completely overlooked their pathetic attendances at Fratton. I imagine when the Skates go 4-0 down on Sunday their fans will spend the rest of the game chanting some Spurs players name to cover up what a joke club they are and convince the neutrals watching they're a great set of fans.
  14. The question confused me too though initially, started going through the entire list of managers we've had who are ex-players. And yes, Dexter is awesome, Season 5 should be very interesting.
  15. Shouldn't the original question be something like 5 men have gone on to manage the Saints after once playing for them to make it a bit clearer?
  16. My only memory of him against us was when he feigned a kick to the face by Dean Richards and got him sent off, must have been the 99/00 season. Can't imagine him offering us much if we signed him really, well past his best.
  17. Good little video that,I wonder whose camera those shots from the royal box came from.
  18. Had us finishing in 7th behind Colchester on 76 points. Can't see us winning at Bristol Rovers or Yeovil.
  19. Got rid of Internet Explorer and started using Safari instead. Not only solved the problem but web browsing is noticeably much faster.
  20. That 3rd goal was class form Messi, theres barely enough adjectives to describe how good the guy is, can't believe he's merely 22 years old. Theo failed to live up to the hype once again I see, can't help but think he's just not maturing as well as a player as others his age.
  21. I was at both of these and stayed till full time, turned into a bit of a laugh at the end to be honest. http://www.soccerbase.com/results3.sd?gameid=273158 http://www.soccerbase.com/results3.sd?gameid=435664
  22. Bit of advice please guys, On a daily basis now Norton is picking up anything up to 24 tracking cookies. I know roughly what they are but how are they getting on my computer? I'm not visting any other sites than the ones I usually do but recently the amount Norton finds has gone up,massively. More so since I replaced the 09 edition with 10. Cheers
  23. Got all 11 bang on 2.00 minutes. If anyone wants a clue with the right back just remember he isn't a natural defender.

    Papa Waigo

The photo in the paper shows it to be Serigne Ababacar. I'm chuffed to bits for Waigo, although he scored the 2 goals to bring us level with Torquay in the first game its that last minute equaliser against Norwich that I look back on and think thats the moment I felt it we'd go on to win it.
  25. Yeah but at least with what you want to do there'd be stops on the way and there'd be a chance to get off and have a ****. Was a touch worrying getting back on the coach after the game after a few hours on the **** knowing there was no toilet and the driver said he wasn't stopping on the way home.
