  1. Was alright for the last 20 minutes or so, still felt like City could easily have gone up a gear or two if needed though. They won’t be anywhere near as forgiving on Saturday
  2. The only way I see us getting out of it this year is if by some miracle we manage to bring in AT LEAST 6 players in the January window that have Premier League experience, and are players we don’t only bring in with one eye on what profit they can return. Couple that with limping along and getting enough points to remain in touching distance of the team in 17th between now and January, then maybe, just maybe we’ll have a chance.
  3. Once the bewilderment of Friday died down it started to hurt a lot, and still does. That kind of result can be enough to put people off for good. I’m tied by my Season Ticket, but I’ve literally fallen out of love with the match day experience. I’ve never felt such disconnect to a Saints team in my life, I genuinely wouldn’t give a **** if any of the players in our squad never featured again. We need about 5 or 6 new signings AT LEAST to get anywhere near a midtable side, and need to stop patching up the starting XI with half decent players when there team around them is so ****. Heard Adam Blackmore saying how Jonny Evans had only cost Leicester £3.5 million, and what a stark contrast it was to the £17 million paid for Hoedt. We need to get smarter in the transfer market as there’s players out there that could turn us around, we just need to focus on bringing in players that will keep us strong for few years without worrying about how much money we can sell them on for.
  4. Great goal J-Rod
  5. Hence why I said very rarely. Leicester are fortunate to have owners with a bit of ambition and are willing to invest heavily for success, they’re the exact opposite of us.
  6. Thats true, there’s always someone pretending to be outraged and accuse someone of some kind of ‘ism’. Usual woke culture nonsense. Gao is a chinaman the same way I’m an Englishman, and quite frankly I don’t want a chinaman in charge of our club. It very rarely ends well for clubs under Far Eastern ownership, as they only use it as a vanity project, particularly our leader who doesn’t appear to have a pot to **** in, and they often show no emotional bond with their team.
  7. How is it racism? He is a Chinaman.
  8. If Ralph goes the whole backroom team need to go, Davis, Watson, the lot. I love Kelv but we need to start afresh. Hopefully they’d bring a bloody good GK coach in too. Its been changed back now but someone changed the Wikipedia page for Angus Gunn to say that he currently plays as a turnstile for Southampton FC - cheered me right up laughing at that.
  9. Looks like a broke man on Sky
  10. I literally have no words about that performance that are any different to how all you guys feel. i will say this though - I’m glad shooting towards the Northam second half made the difference people claimed it would

  12. Can’t believe I’m back home watching a game that I started watching in the stadium....
  13. Massively uninspiring line up, madness is changing nothing and expecting things to change. 0-3 I’m going for.
  14. Who exactly do people think would realistically come in to replace him and do better with this shower of ****e squad??
  15. To be honest I don’t think this squad is even that good. Combine that with a chairman without a pot to **** in and I’d fully back us to do a Sunderland.
  16. ****ing embarrassing - sums up everything I hate about going to St Mary’s these days, A Soulless bowl with a sterile atmosphere full of half and half scarf wearing daytrippers watching the game through their smart phones. Can’t wait till we get relegated so all those plastics **** off and we go back to a decent atmosphere with a third less in attendance. Seriously fed up of planning my whole day around football to go and watch **** players like Ward Prowse and Hojbjerg steal a living as Premier League footballers.
  17. Morgan and Big Vic would still both be a massive upgrade on Hojbjerg who has regressed back from his ‘above average’ form of last season to just plain average this season.
  18. I’m still here Nick 1 don’t post much but always lurking
  19. I would be laughing about their tonking tonight if I wasn’t so angry that clearly they are in disarray big time, and we couldn’t even get a point against them when they were down to ten men for almost an hour!!
  20. We really are crap aren’t we. Only Saints could equalise against 10 men just before half time and still manage to concede straight after
  21. What’s all this on Twitter then about them piping crowd noise through the speakers on Tuesday? Surely not
  22. So hungover today. So worth it though. Hope that Marquis **** gets retrospective active taken against him for that elbow. Hoping the police plan on handing tough sentences to all the skates that got arrested like they did in 2010 when they made an example of our fans.
  23. The giddy bridge is ****ing buzzing right now , guess who’s calling in sick tomorrow!! What a result l, have it you skate ****s!!
  24. Good luck to all of you that are going tonight - hope the police don’t hold back the fans arriving by train like they did to us in 04 and 05. Sing your hearts out for the lads and do us proud!! For those of us not lucky enough to be going where’s the best place to watch football in town these days with plenty of screens and an atmosphere?
  25. That season we lost to Reading we also lost to Bristol City at St Mary’s on a Friday night - absolute shocker that would have seen us go a whole calendar year unbeaten at home, can only dream of that now!!
