I'd say one or both of Saga and Rasiak will go. Pulis and Molyneux are a waste of space. And we've got one too many goalkeepers. If he's not getting in the team (and he shouldn't), Lancashire needs to either be sold or go out on loan somewhere to learn how to play football.

of players now, 36 I think I have counted up now, obviously some will have to go. Looking at the profiles, Pulis is the only one not wearing a Saints related football shirt, does that mean he is going.

It is strange to post a picture of Pulis without a saints shirt - what kind of message does that send to him, to us and to the rest of the squad? The poor guy is doomed ..................

Think he has to actually wear one first,

I am starting to wonder of he is actually real, or some sort of urban myth.

He's probably a very nice guy but somehow he doesn't seem cut out to be a footballer !

At the age of 24 we are his 7th club, he has made 10 league starts and (as a modfielder) has scored no goals !!

Quite why we signed him on a 2 year contract is weird (I note he has an option for another year and if we were to offer it then, well $£%&^!(**&^$£*&^%).

Add Kayne McLaggon to that and I'd agree with you.

There's a lot of youngsters in there that I just cannot see breaking into the first team squad, especially now we are financially solvent and can sign players to strengthen positions. Keep the ones in bold, and McLaggon, and either let the rest out on loan or frees.

Like the yeti?

Next thing we know, there will be an "I saw Pulis today and I have the blurry photos to prove he exists" thread

The squad list is a bit misleading because we've really got about 25 players who are part of the first team squad not all the ones who have numbers. One of Lowe's tactics to cover up the mess last year was to list lots of youth players in the squad so it didn't look like we had no full-backs and the youth team players don't seem to have been demoted.

The problem is much larger than most posters seem to realize. We have players who are not nearly good enough for League 1 football. Which are the teams who would like to take them and pay them the salaries we contracted with them when we were in CCC?

Think about it. We have Tommy Forecast on a FIVE year contract on CCC money. Who in their right mind will want to pay that? Two more years of Pulis? And so it goes. The sad fact is that it may be useful for the morale and future of the club to actually pay off the contracts to those who haven't got a future here and wish them the best of luck. They are in the way for the change of attitude in the club which is an absolute necessity. Players who are hanging around training knowing full well that they don't stand a chance of a first team start are a bad influence on the youngsters who could eventually make it.

Id keep the ones in BOLD, Perry we need some experience and KD seems happier when he is infront of him, even if hes just a back up, Holmes maybe injured alot but when he is fit could be very useful in a position we have no strength or depth, and Gobern I really like this kid, bags of energy gets stuck in not fear attitude, would like to see more of him not less!

Half that "big squad" is just accademy players who have been given squad numbers. Add to that the fact that Molyneux, Wotton, Lancashire and Pulis arent good enough and we have about 5 keepers in there. Actually we are pretty thin onthe ground in terms of players who CDAJFU.

GK - Davis, Bart, Poke

Def - Murty, Thomas, Perry, Trotman, Mills, Harding

Mid - James, Gillett, Morgan, Hamster, Holmes, Lallana, Melis, Gobern, McLaggon

Str - Lambert, Rasiak, Saga, Pato

22 players and we are hardly flooded in any possition.

Totally agree and most of the academy lads won't be taking up much space on the wage bill. McLaggon looked useful in glimpses last season but you won't see him back to full tilt much before XMAS, White needs a loan and couldn't make the first XI at present. Rasiak and Saga will be off. Pulis, Molyneux, Wotton and Lancashire are some kind of sick experiment on our supporters and Forecast sounded on a par with Norwich's Aussie keeper from the Grimsby reports on his debut. Shows the urgent need for another CB, 2 wide players with pace and at least one more striker.

Yep - too many losers. Time to clear out last year's Lowe legacy team.
