nah i havent posted since i was called many rude name for asking if theyd heard about us bidding for racon, touchy buggers lol

I've nearly always found Charlton supporters to be complete twxtz so if you could helpfully take the complete **** on there, mention our current form and totally outplaying them last night I would be very grateful mate.

Maybe a little mention of Northwich Victoria too please as some of their muppets hoped for SFC to be out of 2 cups in a week. I think they're just acheived that themselves whilst we head for Wembley :-)

Deanovski. Please do this for us. Go through the last few pages of posts, and quote every single wrong statement made, and then comment on it. Their are posters badmouthing hois signings, saying Antonio won't play, that he'll ruin players like Lambert, that we won't even stay up. Let's shove this right down their clueless ****ing faces.

I couldn't get on the SWF at the hotel I'm staying in at the moment, so I had to follow the Charlton forum. A couple of quotes, about their own performance:

"This is the footballing equivalent of an anal prolapse."

and what they think of us:

"i h8 southampton fans with a passion, they are unintelligent inbred retards!"

Good losers!

if you dig around on the match theread, there is another thick comment about how they should be beating teams like ''Us'' because we're in the bottom 3.

After reading that thread I must admit I had a little chuckle at the last 2 posts!

"Pardew is apparently favourite to win Octobers manager of the month after 4 wins and a draw. Hopefully the curse will strike and they'll be out of 2 cups by wednesday night. "

"who would have believed this **** would have turned it around down there ........

we must have used all our luck up on curbs....................... "

Probably the same Charlton fans who thought they were being 'ard by giving it the large one across the platform earlier in the season. One word springs to mind: Jealousy, we're a much bigger club than them, are doing well with a manager they can't stand and they know that deep deep down they will never be superior.

Some of the comments on there are laughable, everything they have said has been the complete opposite, hopefully they will keep going on about how we will go down then we can laugh as we pass them in the league. After last night there is no way they should be ahead of us in the league

The Charlton comments should be taken with a pinch of salt - we are probably reading similar comments to those that Spurs fans would have read when Hoddle went there. I don't think too many Saints fans - me included - particularly wanted Hoddle to succeed and Charlton fans' view of Pardew is far worse than the view we had of Hoddle as at least Hoddle was successful. So I would hardly expect to see lots of "well played Southampton" comments on that site.

Charlton fans hate Pardew, I don't think it is particularly anti-SFC. That said, a minority of the comments do show staggering ignorance of the facts. I think Parkinson might be under pressure if MK Dons - who thought were poor at St Mary's - beat them on Saturday hence why a few of their posters are a bit touchy. Our fans going on there is a bit unneccessary in that context.

I have listened intently to a couple of Charlton fans I know over the months and I find it difficult not to believe that Pardew made several errors at Charlton. One of the main reasons I was cautious upon his appointment, but his history with Reading in getting out of this League and some good things at West Ham (along with some bad) made some sense.

But we have a completely different set of circumstances here at Saints along with the time Pardew has had to sort out his life and come back stronger. I still feel there were early indications that Pardew was flapping when things were not going so well in the early days, but that's all over now and he looks to have regained his composure and confidence, with us being the winners all round.

I was very sceptical when some were saying it was good to have a manager who could take us all the way to the Premier and keep us there. Now it would not surprise me if that was the case. The turning point for me came at the home loss to Bristol Rovers, where it was not difficult to see he could easily get us out of this mess.

Example of their stupidity

"Southampton are 3rd from bottom and we should steam rolling them, like we did against Northwich"

For a start, looking at the two teams and the abilities and strength, you'd say even if Saints put their second string out they would have given charlton a going over last night.

Secondly, we are 3rd from bottom because we were on minus ten points. How hard is that to understand that our league position is not an indication of our true performance in the league.

Absolutely retarded.

And it appears they are from the Corp Ho school of attendance percentages. I don't think I've ever been on a message board with SO MANY deluded people :o

Indeed Crabby;

"Being pedantic, but it you look at average attendance vs capacity percentages we're achieving 64.5% and you're just under 60%; therefore our fans had more right than you lot to sing that song ;o)"

Idiots.

What a moron he is. If we were at the Dell still, we'd have been at 90% capacity and could argue that had the match not been televised, it would have sold out there. Quite why he can't fathom it out that it is all about numbers through the turnstiles, I can't imagine. One might believe that the guy ought to be intelligent to have argued the percentages of capacity, but it proves quite the reverse; he is obviously a bit thick.

I'd also hazzard a guess that our larger stadium has a greater provision for corporate seats than theirs, few of which would have been taken up now we're in the lower divisions.

I'm surprised they are such a tetchy bunch. I always thought of Charlton as a kind of fuzzy old granny club.

Nah !

Sarf Londoners with a smattering from Dartford, Eltham and Swanley....

Same gobby chavs as Palarse's Streatham and Croydon types....
