Just thought i would share with you what a great day i had yesterday.. went up to soccer Saturday with tiss yesterday as his guest, the boys were all class and couldn't meet a nicer bunch of lads, Jeff is a genius!!

 

there was some interesting things said off camera and one being..

 

When or if we get taken over Shearer WILL take the saints job, and thats straight from the horses mouth.

 

Matt is a legend and does us proud up there every week. is face off camera when the skates score is a picture!!

I went to the Concorde club in Eastleigh two weeks ago,where Matt was an after dinner speaker and he was a very funny guy.

He certainly cares for the club very much,although he didnt mention Shearer.

What i wouldnt give to have a player like Matt now at Saints(though Lowe would probably sell him).

Errrr just how much time would you like us all to wait? 10 days, 10 weeks, 10 months perhaps 10 years and then you can proclaim 'I told you so'.

 

This board was littered with such posts last season by the likes of Tommac and LLS, and it was such posts that proved to be the most popular. Unfortunately they were all total and utter garbage, and at the end of the day none of what they professed has ever materialised.

 

It is all very well coming here sprouting such things as 'from the horses mouth' - but you do nothing but raise false hopes. So far, all your saying is that if a 'sugar daddy' hits the scene then AS would be willing to spend his (the sugar daddy's) millions in trying to make us successful - big deal, every other 'out of work' manager or 'would be' manager would probably jump at the job with significant backing behind them.

Yet more dribble without substance. So if you never heard it from the 'horses mouth' no doubt you 'heard it from a man the heard it from the horses mouth'...! I think the audience idea was brought in to try to replicate the great atmosphere created in The Galloping Gourmet show of the 70's. Obviously on Soccer Saturday there is far less cooking involved although I don't think it detracts from the show too much. They are both cr@p.

The show doesn't have a audience mate. soccer am has a little one but soccer Saturday does not. the studio is far to small and is just the 5 lads 2 camera men/women and a floor manager,and half a dozen people in the studio next door working on the computers getting scores etc.

 

 

oh and what little weezel mentioned it was mentioned to feel superior? why i don't get it??? who on earth would feel superior by watching a low budget football result show? maybe you? how very strange.

Absolute rubbish - has nothing to do with people being muppets - purely wanting to substantiate exactly what was said. No one is doubting the fact that the originator is quite likely to be in the know, no one is doubting that he was in good company. We are merely trying to establish who said what to whom in order to clarify the original post.

 

Has nothing whatsoever to do with being weird, more to do with being normal, and well aquainted with the standard of 'snippets' that are posted on this board. Perhaps if you paid the £5 (good value), and used the board more you would see this for youself.

I am sure other real fans like myself could and would post much more interesting facts and gossip that most people would like to know but wont bother as its just like dealing with a bunch of children and always ends up like a playground squabble.
