I thought that Scheniderlin was Quality today a long with Hammond n others as I thought he got stuck in well and made some good long passes and contributed to the teams win as well!

Was glad that he was back in the squad today which was Good ;)!

Also was Jaidi ill or something seeing as he didn't make the squad?

COYR!

Can't agree with you there mate, he didn't settle at all in the first half but looked alright in the second.

If you're looking for a MOTM, look no further than Chris Perry - he had both strikers in his back pocket all game long. Best performance from a CB so far this season IMO.

And Jaidi was just rested, along with Thomas, I think.

Yeh well I thought Schneiderlin was not bad but Perry was Good yet again and I would not be surprised if he did get MOTM again because he is a Rock at CB which makes a change!

Yeh I'm pretty sure that you are probably right there as I could do with him playing on Monday for the Colchester game which is another tough game but we will see ;)!

To you on here knocking Morgan, was it just a mere coincidence that we hardly created

a single chance at Leeds when he wasw not playing?

Others would point out that Leeds had 7 fresh players on against us and it showed. Even kept the same team today, they are not daft enough to overlook where their bread and butter lies.

So glad he was back. His flair, touch, range and vision is a class above any other midfielders in this league. Can easially go missing in a game and doesn't exactly run games on his own but he just makes us so much more pleasing on the eye to watch.

Lol that I've started a Quashie debate.

I suppose the point I was making was that Schneiderlin still has a long way to improve before I will get excited by him. I think the reason he looks a bit better this year is because we've dropped down a division. Not convinced he is much better than an average League One player. Quashie on the other hand, was a very good Championship player.

Hopefully posts like these are why you dont post much.

i dont post much because i cant be doing with talking to know-nothings, thats why i moved my seat,i dont try to analyse every player every game. i go to st mary's to enjoy the game i leave the analysing to the a***holes who sit in the kingsland, but i know a good talented player when i see him, i also recognise this is a forum so the aformentioned are allowed to comment, so comment away mate

MOM so far, small number of votes, on post match thread

I guess people are impressed with some sideways 40 yard passes! ;)

It's actually quite hard to pick a MOM today as everyone was ok, no one was really good and no one was really bad.

Personally, I think Perry and Harding were our best two performers in terms of winning their personal battles with the opposition.

I don't get the over-hyping of Schneiderlin. I must watch different games to everyone else. Yes he can pass the ball, and tackle when he wants to, but isn't that what a midfielder should do?

I think that the point is that he does it pretty well. He and Lallana are both class acts.

Yeah, they were spot on today. A lot can be said for those getting the goals each week but so far this season Harding has been superb and Perry today proved that he can challenge as a regular week in, week out. Spot on.

Agree. Perry Man of the Match, closely followed by Dan Harding and maybe even Lloyd James (I know everyone hates him, but he really is improving).

Also agree, we look a much better side with Morgan in, he also makes Dean Hammond seem a better player as well. Missed Morgan at lot at Leeds, and it is not coincidence Hammond then had one of his poorest Saints games. Think Pardew might dip into the transfer market in January for a solid holding midfielder though, a good Paul Wotton if you get what I mean?

I thought that until today. I thought he stood out today.

Why would Thomas be rested?

He's no way near our starting eleven and has hardly played all season. I really don't understand what people see in Wayne Thomas he offers nothing.
