My guess would be:

-----------Davis------------

James---Fonte---Jaidi---Harding

Papa--Hammond--Stock--Lallana

------Lambert--Connolly--------

Subs: Bart, Seaborne, Mills, Holmes, Schniederlin, Gobern, Patterson

Morgan isn't suspended, needs another 5 yellows before any suspension and there hasn't been anything official on a Jaidi injury.

Davis, James, Fonte, Jaidi, Harding, Waigo, Schneiderlin, Hammond, Lallana, Lambert and Connolly would be my guess for the XI. Wouldn't be suprised if we bring in another new face before Millwal which would be interesting.

Thought Morgan was suspended for the Huddersfield game but as that was off doesn't it carry over to this week.

Damn you Merrington for confusing so many people!

No, Morgan is not suspended - he had four bookings going into the new year and after the new year it automatically goes up to TEN bookings before a suspension.

Nah, he got his 5th yellow the game after the deadline changed to make it 10 yellows.

I also don't understand why so many people are keeping Bart out the team. He's looked much better this season, back to his form pre-Newcastle.

I don't really rate either of them. Barts distribution is shocking and Davis is scared of coming for the ball. Davis will probably get the spot because of his experience.

HaHa, indeed. Merrington to blame. How many people have asked about this now? Glad some people are itk.

I would like to see Bart given a bit of a run. Dont think he's done much wrong has he. Like Capello does for England, players should be picked on form, not name. Hopefully one more signing to really increase competition, but it would be nice to see some leave too.

Bart's kicking is woeful. If he was to improve his distribution then he would be a very good keeper. Davis will start this Saturday I feel. Bart for the JPT games?

I bet Antonio starts in place of Waigo though.Illogical, Unexplainable but that's what happens anyway.

Except it's looking increasingly unlikely now that Stock will be here, and since Morgan hasn't been banned it will be him in midfield left, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Gillett back from loan on the bench. Could be interesting.

Bart

James, Fonte, Perry/Thomas, Harding

Waigo, Hammond, Morgan, Lallana

Lambert, Paterson

Paterson is big enough to complement Lambert and has done relatively well this season. I would like to see him given a chance.

If we were to pick up Stock in time I would be sorely tempted to put him on the bench to see and how we fare first. If needed he is a good alternative.

Davis, Wotton, Stock, Antonio, Seaborne, Thomas/Perry, Gobern

my biggest concern and it has been for a while is pace.

Dont think Pardew will play 442 to start with away to Millwall

I wouldn't play both Seaborne and Fonte on Saturday together, two centre backs making debuts doesn't sit well in my mind.

Davis

James Fonte Perry Harding

Antonio Morgan Hammond Lallana

Waigo Lambert

Subs: Bart, Seaborne, Connolly, Wotton, Paterson, Danns, Messi

We still seem extremely light in midfield when you look at the subs bench, don't you think?

It's on the left I reckon that we need strengthening. As good as Lallana has been this season, he's not a left sided player, and I'd rather see us bring one in to strengthen that side, after all, Harding could use the help. Yes this presents a probem as to where to put Lallana, but you could either use him in a central role and slightly more advanced, almost as the second striker, or even on the right to replace Antonio.

We have Gobern and Holmes, but neither seem in favour with Pardew, and it also looks light because James is stuck at right back.

behave - no way unless his hand is forced is he going to change a centre back pairing. My suggestion would be Perry with Fonte.

'This' will get the job done: a sort of Fonte'd-up version of Southend away where we were excellent. That was probably one of our best midfield and attacking displays all season.

Hope we signed the two new lads injury free.

I'd have thought so. We've a new & exciting transfer policy which differs on every level to that of the last reign. We sign decent, established/up & coming players that other clubs want and we sign players without injury & with the intention to play them.

My guess would be:

Davis

Otsemobor - Fonte - Jaidi - Harding

Waigo - Morgan - James - Hammond - Lallana

I personally would go with:

Bart

Otsemobor - Fonte - Jaidi - Harding

James - Morgan - Hammond - Waigo

Lallana

Lambert
