Liquidshokk Posted 8 February, 2010 Share Posted 8 February, 2010 Hi Ive just been informed by mate who is a police officer that intel says that Millwall fans will be travelling down for the match and are making high tension threats. He said they are coming down 'to be with pompey' which ive asked for clarification on... Im guessing to back up the pompey fans in any trouble that arises.... Police advice is to stay away from pubs in the local area that day and they say that every policeman and his dog will be there.... Stay alert people
Berkshire Saint Posted 8 February, 2010 Share Posted 8 February, 2010 Millwall and Pompey hate each other, they're hardly going to 'back up' Pompey fans in any trouble.
RedAndWhite91 Posted 8 February, 2010 Share Posted 8 February, 2010 Wow, Southampton gaining a bit of notoriety and a bit of a reputation? It takes Millwall AND Pompey, who were both feared and respected as mobs in their time to gang up on US?! Pathetic!

scott_saints Posted 8 February, 2010 Share Posted 8 February, 2010 lol. Millwall will not be WITH Pompey I can assure you. My prediction: Few scuffles, lots of goading from behind police lines. Police will be the only successful "firm" on the day.

JackanorySFC Posted 8 February, 2010 Share Posted 8 February, 2010 Absolute ********! So what if Millwall do come down, their fans that started trouble here in the league game got battered? I used to live in Surrey Quays 5 mins from the Den - contray to myth, Millwall's fans aren't 7ft 30 stone baby eating monsters, most, infact are scrawny pink hackett polo shirt wearing mouth pieces. Anyway, good to see the usual rumour mill rubbish has begun!

The Godfather Posted 8 February, 2010 Share Posted 8 February, 2010 Lol. Police saying stay away from local pubs, they just don't want people to drink full stop. Millwall joining Pompey hilarious, next they're be telling us that a former hobbit will be leading gang of West Ham hooligans for the day. Great stuff, sounds like a new Nick Love film. RedAndWhite91 Posted 8 February, 2010 Share Posted 8 February, 2010 Most of these supposed fans who are supposedly travelling down would be the ones who have banning orders, and see no point having a ruck with Exeter's mob It won't happen, Pompey and Millwall have history anyway, and I agree with JackanorySFC: contray to myth, Millwall's fans aren't 7ft 30 stone baby eating monsters, most, infact are scrawny pink hackett polo shirt wearing mouth pieces. When I went to the Den their most aggressive fans I could see in the ground were aged from about 8-18. One had a Hackett polo as well If it DID happen, which, let's face it, it's not, then I wouldn't be surprised to see it kick off between Pompey and Millwall! After all, the rumour mill was in full swing after the first game of the season, and if you believe everything you hear, a lot of Millwall went 17 miles down the road later that day and stormed a pub, putting some Pompey 'top boys' in hospital. Well yes 6 was under the West Stand stood on a stool at the front, best view in town Even the old dockers cut down on the 4 letter words for the kids in those days, not so much but a bit anyway. Make no mistake there will be plenty of idiots trying to wreck not only the day but our town, that is the scum mentality of their support, subject to how Wednesday goes will determine how far they are prepared to go, the police have had plenty of time to organise and are making all the right noises, suggest those that are 'up for it' meet at say Segensworth, still at least one dirt area left that an office has not been built on, after the event who ever is left comes to the game and enjoys the atmosphere without the fear of the ultra-violence, especially those with children. TijuanaTim Posted 8 February, 2010 Share Posted 8 February, 2010 Millwall will definitely NOT be coming down. The filth are taking the p!ss, here are a few glaring reasons...Millwall have Exeter at home...we are an early game...they hate the skates...there are more 'thug' appealing events closer to home... What would they come as anyway 'Treatment', 'F-Troop', 'The Half-Liners' or 'Bushwhackers'? Your contact in the OB is having a big laugh at your expense FFS Sorry to disillusion anyone. lordswoodsaints Posted 8 February, 2010 Share Posted 8 February, 2010 Let me tell you how the day will go..... Pompey fans will be herded onto a train that will slowly make it's way to Southampton, the police will direct the train to get into Southampton about 11.45, the Pompey fans will be escorted to the ground,a few saints fans will gather at various points of the journey and sing a few songs and goad them as they walk by. Any Pompey fans who decide to drive will be picked up at the road entrances to southamton and escorted.the game will pass without incident, maybe a few ejections for minor offences and then the whole operation will be done in reverse.....job done. Evil Monkey Posted 8 February, 2010 Share Posted 8 February, 2010 The rozzers want to keep as many Saints fans sober before the game as possible, yes? Its already the early kick off, so what else can they do? Close a few pubs (quite likely) and try to scare us from going to the rest. Theyre just using Millwall's reputation to help their own agenda. IMO.
