Incidentally, what the hell are "debenture" seats? is that a corporate thingy?
StuRomseySaint Posted 20 March, 2010 Share Posted 20 March, 2010 never trust a northerner. Incidentally, what the hell are "debenture" seats? is that a corporate thingy? You pay a fixed sum of money to reserve your seat. I think the Wembley ones were about £10,000 for 5 years, gives you first priority of buying your seat for any event at Wembley. ( You pay on top for each event )

You had your pants pulled down by your mate, I tapped up my mate for them and paid £58 plus a single delivery charge of £4.25. I have been told that despite not being able to wear my shirt I will enjoy the experience of the posh seats and the concourse.

SaintNeil90 Posted 20 March, 2010 Share Posted 20 March, 2010 Dont understand why so many are going on about it causing trouble with the Carlise fans or getting a broken nose. Nothing like that will happen unless you look for trouble, however if you wear saints colours in the Southampton end you will be kicked out the ground! Pilchards Posted 20 March, 2010 Share Posted 20 March, 2010 Put your colours under a jumper and then review the situations then, I reckon you will be able to walk to somewhere that has a few other saints fans on the border of the carlisle fans. Stick together and party people.
monkadill Posted 20 March, 2010 Author Share Posted 20 March, 2010 Thanks - thought i'd test the water on this one. Years ago i was at the Dell when we played Wigan in the Wigan end ( with a mate who was a Wigan fan) Wigan scored first and I was the only one in there end not celebrating like a loon, then came the half time and the news that I was a saints fan was put about, I had some ribbing but no hassle. Second half Matty pop's an equaliser and I went mad in a sea of calmness - no hassle and a good day out. As i have my Mum I guess I'll play safe. Thanks for all the advice. I can't remember having ever played Wigan in Matt Le Tiss' time? Anyways, don't underestimate 'little' Carlisle, they've always had a 'nawty' mob follow them around (and England - known as 'BCF' a few years back) so they'll always be some who'll take umbrage to a few oppos in with 'em - as there would with us. So act sensible and if someone taps you on the shoulder and introduces himself as 'Mr Dodds'.........

Bottom line is I have tickets to see Saints at Wembley Stadium, there are many who do not, if I am not allowed to wear my colours I will not be crying into my beer. West End Saint Posted 22 March, 2010 Share Posted 22 March, 2010 I went to the Leeds V Donny play off final there were thousands of Leeds fans in the Donny end most wearing colours loads of flags and banners they all ended up in 1 area with stewards between them and the Donny fans. I think you will be ok wearing colours you will not be on your own and if there is a lot of Saints in the Carisle end they wont eject you
