Fans could be responsible for the team missing out on European place

Our behaviour is arguably the only thing we have control over when it comes to supporting the team. We can spout forthright uninformed opinions about the failings of the manager, players and chairman on an internet thicko-board incessantly but in the one area that we actually have some control over, we are failing. Or rather you guys are failing. I'm doing a great job.

Behaviour of the public?

Oh no, Turks was right, we're not going to be allowed into Europe 'cos we don't dress right

Excellent, we really don't need the Europa Noddy League next season. If there is a good reason for dressing up AND it has the added bonus of upsetting Turdish then bring it on. Anyway that table is 3 or 4 games out of date.

5th in the table overall 9th on behaviour of the public. 9 points behind our closest rivals Fulham.

table isn't up to date though, perhaps Fulham's fans have behaved extremely badly in their last 3 games. Probably not though, think they're all retired Indian colonels and memsahibs. As they have less fans they potentially have less problems, should be on a pro-capita basis.

I was being ironic R&W56.

The approximate translation of the message is "We hate everyone" and as far as the quality of their team is concerned, they are currently top of Ekstraklasa ( the Polish equivalent of our Premier League ) but allegedly the club is being investigated by FIFA on racist grounds so perhaps not a great aspiration to have ?

I would hate it, really hate it, if we got into Europe next season. Much to do to build on our impending success at staying up this season.

No way do we need the headache of playing ACHE Meballsov and a host of other minnows in a jaunt across Europe.

Consolidate our position and build for 2014/15 or more likely 15/16 battle at the top for a CL place.

OK, you might want to discount that last sentence but I can dream can't I?

Good,we're ill equipped for a European place anyway. Lets just stay up, and build for acheiving something like that next season.

I think our style of play is perfectly suited to doing well in Europe. I also think our first 11 are good enough to do well. We just don't have the squad depth currently but few teams do and we would strengthen even more in the Summer if we knew we had secured European football - afterall it is exactly where I believe the owners and management want us to be. And, we are masters of succeeding ahead of plan.

Agreed, our quick passing and pressing game would suit European football, my point about being ill equipped was as you've said, due to our lack of quality depth in our squad.

If we can consolidate and perhaps qualify for Europe next season ( assuming we stay up this year) I think we'll be ready to give it a good go. I can't wait to play the likes of ACHE Mellbalov as mention by another poster. Travelling to the arse end of Europe for a good beer up and to watch my team play international club football is an exciting thought.

I'd be well up for entering the Europa League in the first round quali, just for a comedy away trip to Crusaders or the Faroe Islands!

Then again aren't the fairplay places handed out to the 3 leagues that are doing best in the fairplay league overall as well?? So looking at our league only determines who gets the place if the premier league is the in the top 3 of Europe (which I have no idea how to find out and can only assume places like Stoke are happily pulling the league down a bit)

It would be a huge mistake, you need a squad that can rotate nearly a different team from a Thursday to a Sunday, Newcastle cant and look at them, we would need to spend millions to compete in both, thats why I hate the premiership, its killed the so called lesser European competitions.

To much at stake to stay in the League.
