And if he attacks the EU in trade, although it will damage the EU as well and we will get a sniffle from it. Their retail, gas and other prices are already causing a lot of domestic consternation and they brought it in themselves with the attacks on Canada.

Biggest winners are Russia, and especially China. This is setting them up nicely for their long-term aim of all of those lovely microchips in Taiwan. They probably can’t believe their luck.

They won't. 

Regardless, Trump calling them tariffs is inaccurate. Tariffs are targeted against specific items for a specific trade purpose. These are more akin to economic sanctions, at best.
