Surely we can do better than signing an injured 29 year old that's never been a prolific goalscorer. Can't think that RH would see him as the type of player we need? Assume that's a transfer fee not what Watford pay us to take him. Outside the age bracket we're meant to be going for. I'm sure there'll be exceptions to that occasionally if we want to add a bit of experience and leadership to the squad, but I doubt we'll make one for someone who has averaged only 10 games a season throughout his career on a minutes-played basis.
