If his time is anything like what it was a caretaker and/or coach here, he's gonna need it. 

By all accounts a top bloke, but I cant help but feel he should have stayed retired. Might be a good opportunity for us to farm out some younger lads for first team football.. 

Side note: looks to be joined by Danny Butterfield as his assistant.

He was manager for one game, in a season where we were shit, away to Spurs and we lost 3-1. No indicator of his ability really. 

Hope they do well. Will definitely be looking out for their results more now.

Yep. Hopefully he can do well and get himself started in management. Butterfield alongside him, and Andy Cook as the physio, is a strong group of ex pros. Good luck to him.
