Didn't really get the hype with him a few weeks back, he was performing as the best of a very bad bunch. The reality is he's exactly the sort of CB you expect a bottom half Championship side to have in their lineup. Even Swansea fans don't rate him, its mental that we signed him and Edwards as a PL club.

I think people are being a bit harsh on him. He’s got potential, but we’re asking him to pass the ball into midfield & get on the ball regularly. If we got him to defend, head and kick it away, there’s something there (apart from the one horrendous miss kick). I’d bet my life a proper manager would get more out of him. Same with Edwards, I’m not saying they’re great, but we’re not giving them the best chance to shine.

Probably worth remembering that was after getting us relegated from the Premiership, and after squandering a massive amount of money. Followed by the 2nd-worst performance in the PL by any side and a 2nd relegation in 3 seasons. Followed by a 2nd season in the Championship, in which after almost a third of the season we are in 21st place. Perhaps, you could recall other stats such as,  7 managers in 3 and a 1/3 seasons, 4 wins in 50+ matches and possessing a league position below Bournemouth, Brighton, Portsmouth and Oxford United. Yes, they fully deserve our trust.
