Hi

Does anybody have an inkling as to when the early season match tickets are going on sale for members.

I have some holidays coming up soon and hoping I am not going to be out of range / reach when the dates kick in.

I might need to rearrange a few things if i had a heads up on the release dates.

Thanks for any help / info

Mike

Yeah I remember it being linked with Doncaster last time.

Wrexham tickets on sale to members tomorrow. Doesn't mention a category but cheapest adult ticket is £30.

I'm sure not that long ago they used to announce the match day prices and which games were which category all at the beginning of the season.

Seems much more secretive now. Probably so they can charge more.

Wrexham is cat A, Stoke is cat B. It's in the file name when you save the image.

It'll be interesting to see what we're going to charge their fans because we're allowed to charge them whatever the home fans are being charged in the same stand so that should be £40 for Wrexham fans and £35 for Stoke.

It's a joke that we're seemingly going to give away fans 1,000 more tickets than they're entitled to, we better not do the same for the Skates game.

I agree, and no chance of Stoke bringing 3000 fans so they need to find a way of putting excess seats back on sale to home fans

Also price behind the goals and in corners seems to be the same for A and B games which doesn't really make sense

I love how one of the selling points of membership is....EMAILS.

They were definitely reaching for that 6th thing at that point.

If anyone is 50/50 on getting a membership the thought of logging in to their inbox and discovering a lovely email from Saints  about a retail product launch could be the clincher

I bet we do though, which will be fucking ridiculous considering we'll get about 1800.

The only saving grace might be a reciprocal agreement demanded by the plod to limit numbers to 1800-2000 away fans for each game.

Surely there'll be some additional segregation in the away end for the skates match? A block either side, or at least chapel side I'd imagine.

Got my tickets for the Wrexham game. Will be bringing my 4 year old for the first time! Was a bit of a faff having to register a 4 year old as junior member and getting him a supporter number but we did it. Very much looking forward to his reaction on the day.

It's not sold out is it? Got tickets earlier and now showing as unavailable even after I make sure I'm logged in (which isn't a smooth process on the site).

I can only see Stoke on sale.

Edit. Maybe showing unavailable as I personally no longer have access....

But I do like to monitor ticket sales progress so that's annoying!

Cos you’ve already used you’re supporter number

Why don't they just release a list of dates with a disclaimer, and if it's sold out at that date, it doesn't get to that window ...

Simple really, but they're just trying to push people down the membership route. Easy £30 for the Mugs. I mean, fans.

I'm a member, I don't feel like a mug. And it cost me £25 which it would have done for anyone if they got on and bought one.

I never had a ST from 71/72 season until the Dell went all-seater and then had one up to recent times when my circumstances changed and a membership became better suited. It gives me first shot at home league tickets, a better chance of aways and almost guarantees a Play-Off ticket. Small outlay and you get a bit back with deals for some matches.

Incidentally, I'm still waiting on a mate to renew his membership before I can start getting tickets but had a look at availability for the opening games. The Northam is just about sold out but plenty more elsewhere, particularly either side of the away section. Just goes to show, despite some slagging it off, that it's the most popular stand to be in.

You also get £5 off C cat match tickets, if you were going to those anyway it pays for the membership

Last season they put tickets on sale to membership,  then season ticket holders could buy additional,  first half of season not many games made it to "general" sale at all .

Saints have roughly 22k season tickets, 3k away fans, perhaps 1.5k hospitality so it doesn't leave that many game by game tickets to sell.

Wrexham sales look quite slow so far, right in peak holiday season, on tv , early ko and expensive cat A prices so not that surprised

Once it goes to General Sale it should pick up but for all the reasons you say it likely won’t sell-out first game.

And it’s looking a bit lonely right now for the few that ditched the Northam to be alongside the aways in the Chapel, most seats available. Probably pick up a bit nearer to the game but an easy job for the stewards to keep fans seated and pull out anyone if the ‘banter’ gets a bit lively!

Is it just the 1 ticket per membership? So I need 2 membership for me and my boy! I think I will gamble, unless anyone is in a position to get an under 14 and an adult ticket for me? This will be my only home game.

They should confirm which fixtures are A , B or C as whether a membership is good value could depend on whether those Cat C games are attended

Having A,B and C games in the championship is utterly farcical. We should be embarrassed to be here not make certain games “high profile” for the sake of a few quid.

Well I just lost the plot and bought my son and I season tickets ... this better be good ...

Must have been decided when watching that cracking Eastleigh game?
