Ah! That goes some way to answering the question I posed on this very subject earlier. Cheers 👍🏻

P.s. good job that the FA are an institution based on common sense and pragmatism... ;)

Leeds might be the only issue then, the FA would probably want us to wear black if they are the designated home side.

Although we beat then last time wearing black so we can honour our play off win instead ;)

If we get Leeds or Man City we will get the green man pub end of Wembley .. but if we get Chelsea or West Ham I’m not sure if we will get the same end ..

anyone know ?

Of the possible opponents, Leeds would be good. They obviously have much less experience of FA Cup semi-finals than we do, especially in recent years, and we've already beaten them at Wembley. Their current team doesn't look anything special, but I'm hoping they can get past West Ham today.

We had the same end against Chelsea last time.

Is that the same end as we had at the play-off final?

Current match is dull, don't like either team much, shame they both can't lose

Poor atmosphere too. West Ham booed off at half-time. They say there are 9,000 Leeds fans there, but I haven't heard them.

Can’t be right. Aren’t they meant to be the Northern version of the ‘bestest’ in the world ?

In fairness they can be good, although a bit muted at end of play off final. Would prefer West Ham in SF if possible.

Every time I see LS on TV I find it very awkward how disconnected the pitch is.

It is an athletics stadium and was built for that purpose.  They are fitting a rectangle in to an oval.

Can’t imagine what it’s like watching.

Pretty distant from my only visit there (2023).

Yeah. We’ve had that end 3 times at Wembley.

edit: 4 times. Forgot the league cup final

11 mins added time after zero in the City game. That ref needs investigating as people put bets on times of event. You can’t just ignore timings because you want to put the scousers out of their misery.

Leeds will be fuming if they throw this away. Comfortably been the better side. No idea where they got 11 minutes from.

Doesn’t this now invoke the unwritten FA/Sky rule that Liverpool, Man Utd and Arsenal are now automatically reinstated in the draw ?

All those West Ham fans that left  oops

Seriously why would you walk out at only two down with time to go? In a big game too. I could understand it if losing 4 nil (coughLiverpoolcough) but not at 2. Those fans outside the ground will be kicking themselves now especially if they go on to win.

Danny Dyer is still there so that makes up for it.

Shouldn’t you call the poster a ‘f’kin melt’ for maximum effect ?
