Interestingly Chelsea haven't sold out their 33,250 initial allocation yet and any season ticket holder or member can buy THREE each, for me that shows even for a fanbase like theirs the prices are too steep. Not much travel cost or distance for Chelsea either. Like us Leeds have been given some extra tickets. They’re cup final ticket prices, semi final should be no more than £60. The FA are pulling fans pants down knowing most will pay it regardless because they don’t want to miss it.
Saint_Kent Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago I have 2 surplus tickets in the gods, £45 each cost but I’ll sell them at £25 each. Hope they find a good home!

Prices are ridiculous for a Semi Final, going to be empty seats galore this weekend as a result, not from us but City and Chelsea. Won’t be a good look for the FA seeing swathes of red seats in their ends. Hopefully it’s enough for them to start seriously considering moving away from Wembley again.

I reckon I went to more leaque games hone and away when at school using my washing up job money. Then in 80s with first job.

If you actually thought about what I was saying, if we'd been playing any other team in the country I'd have felt confident - City are the one side who turn up consistently when it matters. Their front three against our back four terrifies me. City have a huge squad all of top players, even if put 2nd team in they would beat most teams. Its all on the day yes, and cup game but realistically a team with the best forwards in country v a team that basically plays a very high risk keep ball and in thier own 6 yard box is not a equal match up. God know what the tactics were yesturday but we cant do that Saturday. 3

saintant Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Rodri missed their game tonight. Think he might be out for the semi final which would be a little Brucie Bonus for us. 1
madge Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago City’s defence is not all that and we’ll get chances.. unfortunately their attack is impressive
Roosk Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Has anyone else had issues getting the verification code through when logging into the saints ticket app for the first time? I’ve downloaded the app and entered the correct email address but no verification code comes through (and yes I am checking spam folder!). If I am missing something obvious I am happy to have it pointed out to me as I’m starting to get a bit worried… can anyone help?

Osvaldorama Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago For all the doomers, anyone remember : Moussa Djenepo, Sekou Mara 2-0 Man City ? Anything can happen. Yes it’s highly likely we get battered but who cares. 2
saintant Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Many City fans saying they were very poor tonight without Rodri and one saying he's not back until their game against Everton.

They looked tired to be fair. They played well the first half of the first half, then faded Before this match, I thought Man City were beyond us, now I think we have a chance, but alot of that depends on how tired we are and how tired they are. It's a weird one
Saint86 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago (edited) Full strength city getting a 1-0 vs Burnley (a side we'd fancy ourselves to beat) in a must win game. Albeit they absolutely dominated them and the Burnley keeper was MoTM. https://www.flashscore.com/match/football/burnley-z3dmTMMO/manchester-city-Wtn9Stg0/summary/lineups/?mid=6mtC9buh Very strong side from city though: Ruma Nunes, khusanov, Guehi, Ait-Nouri(off on 65min) Silva, O'reily Semenyo (off on 65min), Cherki, Doku Haaland You have to fancy they'll rotate a fair amount on the back of this - especially with just 3days until the semi final, which might just give us chance 🤷♂️ (I am very much aware that whatever side they put out will be superb). May sound mad, but we've secured playoffs, so i fully expect us to go all in on this. That Ipswich game is largely irrelevant to us and they'll be just as jaded as we are. And we are guaranteed 5th now as a minimum unless we somehow fail to beat an absolutely awful Preston side that have been on the beach for weeks and failed to beat both Leicester and qpr recently (and the boro Wrexham remaining games all go against us) . Happy days i say. Their bench still features the likes of Foden, Ake, Kovacic, Marmoush, and Reijnders. Looks likely that Ruben Dias and Rodri will be out of the semi, plus Gvardiol has a broken leg... Whisper it quietly, but they're might just be something in this for us on Saturday, if the cards fall our way anyway. City fans aren't sounding quite so confident after tonight either... https://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/threads/southampton-n-sat-25th-april-17-15-fac-pre-match-thread.371524/ Edited 9 hours ago by Saint86 1

Who cares if we lose I care if we lose. How can anyone not care if we lose a semi final? It'll be gutting. I hate all this 'day out' stuff tbh, such a noddy attitude in my view. For me the excitement isn't merely the fact we're at Wembley, it's the fact we're one game from the FA Cup final. I'm not going just for the day out like we're some third division club who have never played there before. I'm going with the hope we can reach only the second FA Cup final of my lifetime. 3
Toadhall Saint Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago It’s 11 men vs 11 men. Yes they have a better squad etc etc but my view is that we will go out to compete with them and if we should win (which isn’t beyond us) then brilliant! If we should lose it won’t be because we didn’t try. I’m hoping city have an off day and we capitalise.
Charlie Wayman Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago If Nathan Jones could beat them then surely it'll be straightforward for Tonda Eckert? 2

saintant Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Have a feeling Tonda may spring a surprise and go for a low block for the first 60-65 minutes. Think he'll leave the flair players on the bench and set up 451 with starting eleven something like; Peretz Bree Stephens (or Wood) THB Wellington Matsuki Bragg Downes Jander Charles Larin He'll aim to stay in the match and bring on Scienza, Fellows and Azaz after 60-65 minutes. Just my theory and probably not going to happen.
S-Clarke Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago They're not as strong as they were a few seasons ago, when they had peak KDB, Rodri and co. But they're still on a different level than us obviously, so it's going to be one of those games where we need to make the most of every sniff we get - we can't miss chances, and we also will need a fair bit of luck. Nothing is impossible though, and with the momentum we have I'd imagine City aren't thinking this is a comfortable game - it will probably be harder than the game at Burnley they just played. I just want the next two days to fast forward now.

Pilchards Posted 35 minutes ago Posted 35 minutes ago Watched the City Burnley game yesterday. They have a lot of great moves around the box but that killer pass is just not there. We can beat them on set pieces for sure, JWP was whipping the balls in time and time again but the Burnley donkeys couldn’t get a head to it as they were slow to react. Saw on the blue moon chat that they are crap at attacking set plays and crap at defending them. Im sure our Tonda would have done his homework by holding them for the first 20 minutes to tire out and try beat them with our counters and set plays. 1
bender Posted 11 minutes ago Posted 11 minutes ago Man City won't be at there best and we've forgotten how to lose so I'm quite optimistic we won't get battered. Don't expect us to get to the final but you never know.
