Sheaf Saint Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Not seen another thread about it so thought it was worth discussing. There's a couple of obvious candidates... Finn Vs City at Wembley for the celebration, and it was a damn good finish too. Charles Vs Oxford - outrageous hit from distance. But I'd also like to nominate LND's second away at Sheff Utd. It was the moment he finally announced to us what a good footballer he actually is, after a nightmare couple of injury-plagued years for him. There's probably plenty of other decent shouts but those are the three that stick out for me.
Willo of Whiteley Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Larin v Wrexham was decent. For an athlete that size to pick up that pace so quickly and score so calmly and composed was very good 2

Agree very much about Stewart’s goal at Sheffield United but for the sheer distance and power it has to be Charles goal for me.
EssEffCee Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago If we're talking purely the goal and not any of the context around it then it's Charles v Oxford by a mile. If we're including context then Azaz last week followed by Charles at Leicester. 1
UpweySaint Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Charles if we’re talking standalone goal for sure. Honourable mention to the much maligned (often not unfairly) Manning who has hit some quality free kicks this season. The FA Cup goals all felt pretty special too. Azaz was a great strike but Stewart against Arsenal felt good too!
Stud mark of doom Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago So many to choose from. Is it maybe our best season for numerous quality goals since MLT? 1
Willo of Whiteley Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago The technique by Stephens vs Leicester was exceptional in that comeback game
Lighthouse Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Goal - Charles vs Oxford Assist - Downs vs Wrexham
Colinjb Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Shea v Oxford had people disbelieving their own eyes. A split-second of disbelief before euphoria. The greatest goal i've seen with my own eyes. Finn at Wembley a close second.
saintstowin Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Along with the great individual goals which are the type to usually win, we've scored some great team goals where we've moved the ball all the way from the gk or defence culminating in a goal. I wish my memory wasn't completely failing me for more examples, the Larin goal v Ipswich was of that type. 1
SNSUN Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Charles vs Leicester. Great build up with a curling left foot finish, his weaker foot. In injury time, to complete a 3 down comeback. Granted his Oxford goal will probably win it but for me, it was the Leicester goal. We're lucky to have seem so many good goals this season though. Azaz at Wembley was a notable one. Matsuki vs Norwich. Most of Leo's. List goes on. 1
pimpin4rizeal Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago I’d go with azaz cup goal .. when you consider the occasion the little spin first touch and he knew exactly what he was doing it wasn’t just a let have a pop 1
benjii Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Scienza at QPR was a huge goal. Tonda's first match. We were hovering around the relegation zone. Started the momentum that we've carried through but for the Christmas dip. For similar reasons, Charles' 4th goal against Leicester. Also Manning v Wrexham deserves a mention.

Stud mark of doom Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Of course, we might not have seen the goal of the season yet…. 1
Dark Munster Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Lots of good contenders mentioned here, but surely no contest: Cyle Larin's spectacular overhead kick winner against Millwall in the playoff final at Wembley. 2
Willo of Whiteley Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago The technique of Scienza’s goals vs QPR and Derby. The audacity of Charles vs Oxford. The composure of Larin vs Wrexham. The “fuck it” hit from Stewart vs Sheffield United. The finesse of Azaz vs Manchester City. 1

True, but without Fellows' surprise thunderbolt goal we'd have never got back into the game. 1

I was sat right behind it as he hit it and the trajectory then had it going out nearer the corner flag. Absolute phenomenal strike from a very long range. Saint Pete Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Shea Charles goal of the season. Azaz City goal "moment" of the season.
