SNSUN Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago 2 goals and one disallowed for offside. Didn't see this performance coming.... from France. 1
skintsaint Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Rice looking like his old-self now he over that bug.
sfc4prem Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago A great performance here would just rub salt into the fucking wounds. 1
Colinjb Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago France not wanting to be there. Meaningless nonsense. 1

whelk Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago No doubt some idiots are going to cite this performance to defend Tuchel

Stripey McStripe Shirt Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago In happier news the Argies are absolutely furious at the end of the rugby. Hoping the England players unfurl a Falklands banner in a minute. 1

ChristopheVAFC Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Lack of motivation, no desire (to be there and play football). I can’t see France winning a match tonight 1
Colinjb Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago 4 minutes ago, whelk said: No doubt some idiots are going to cite this performance to defend Tuchel In fairness, starting the second string was the right call. But that's like sending the work experience kid to do out reach work at a Primary School. 1
skintsaint Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Frustrating to see us 3 up against Frances, where was this Wednesday.? 1
SNSUN Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago If we score a 4th I might start to believe this won't go to penalties.

Polaroid Saint Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Don't care too much if others don't care, but understand that stance too. Hey, it's officially a competitive match. Winning would represent England's 'best place' in world cup history other than 1966 (4th in 2018, 4th in 1990). So history will be kind even if it all feels a bit pointless today. Be great for player mentality too going into the next proper competition (Euros) too. Oooh, it's three.
Colinjb Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago One of the most farcical are maddening spectacles i've seen on a football pitch. And i've seen Kelvin Davis concede 5 at Hillsborough.
Stripey McStripe Shirt Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago There's something about the fans at this world cup which has never felt right. I know it's in America, and they obviously don't really understand sport, but I would assume there's a good chunk of natives from various teams watching. But whenever the camera pans to England fans they just seem to sterile. Not quite AI generated, but almost moulded in the way and average person (thick American) would stereotype someone from each nation. For example the English fans dressed as Lions and as St George, none of who look like they've ever watched football or celebrated a goal before. Same for the french fans holding baguettes and wearing berets. The other day I though the same about Spanish fans dressed as matadors, and same for various other teams throughout the tournament. None of it seems quite real. Obviously I don't expect it from a 3rd place play off, but I don't recall seeing any real passion from fans of any team.
SNSUN Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago If France don't make a sub or two at half time I'll be surprised. 1

die Mannyschaft Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Just got back ftom Eastleigh game, players stayed for autograph and photos. But blimy France are utter crap and why are England now playing a high line and look like scoring in every break. Has Tuchel torn up his note book realising a flat back 9 won't get many goals. Looks like France cant be bothered as expected to be in Final. 1
obelisk Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Good positive play with no question of a pass back in the build up. Quick slick passing and 4-0. Just making me more peeved at the surrender against Argentina. 2
