So, this morning, Dragan spoke out, and it was important for him to do so in order to answer the questions many of us have. As expected, Tonda retains the confidence of the board and, barring any FA sanctions, will be the Saints' manager next year. I think that despite the situation, it's a good decision because I also believe Tonda remains the club's best chance of returning to the Premier League next year. He knows the club, had an excellent second half of the season, and even did better than Russell, I think. Keeping him saves time because he understands the squad's needs for next year. Next year, however, the board will need to implement monitoring tools to prevent this kind of thing from happening again. The integrity of the club is now at stake. I certainly hope this affair won't have repercussions on Sport Republic's investments in Goztepe and Valenciennes, as they'll need to make up for the financial losses in Southampton. We must be vigilant, because money is the lifeblood of any club, especially regarding the club's sponsors, who represent a significant source of revenue. Now, what will the team be like next year? The work begins now... For the fans, the hardest part will be regaining their trust; it will take time, a lot of time... Best of luck to everyone. Your English is superb, Christophe. Those northern scoundrels in Middlesbrough could take note! 2

I admit I'm bending the rules a bit with the translator, but I put a lot of heart into my answers. 😅 As for Boro, he should focus on building a team next year instead of constantly spewing hatred at our team. COYS !! 3

A moral lecture on poor "culture" from a character who whitewashed corporate behaviour that led to the bankruptcy, false imprisonment and suicides of innocent postmasters. Just read some more of his posts.... Lack of self awareness is astonishing.... You can see why the post office scandal happened when people like him were at the helm... There's got to be something dodgy in the water in Teeside, surely.... What other explanation is there for their collective imbecilic response to all this? Edited 1 hour ago by trousers

What other explanation is there for their collective imbecilic response to all this? Quite so. If you look at his website he manages to bury his involvement with the Post Office in a long list of toady-for-hire jobs he's done. So his literally daily obsession with Saints and our supposedly toxic culture take hypocrisy to new, dizzying heights. What - and I use this term advisedly - a total cunt. 3

OldNick Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Im glad theclub has come out fighting, too long have we bent over trying to be a homely club while others kick us. If we sacked all the staff, all the players etc etc fans are always going to call us cheats. Personally I believe that when oppo fans sing to us being cheats it will goad our home fans into defieance and help lift the atmosphere at games. We are Saints and we are a family

I'm not sure they'll have such a good league season next year. Their supporters should focus their efforts on their own club instead of constantly venting their hatred towards us. 1

If rumours are true that they will be squeezed financially next season it may explain why they can’t get to grips with screwing up a chance they should never have got. Their continued obsession with us is pathetic when they seem to ignore the balls up their tearful manager made of the season 1

Dragan is a media mogul, he should know. At last, he is taking control of the story. We were done over by the press and our own inactivity. Now there's the implied threat that carry on knocking us and we might sue for the potential loss of millions (let alone the reputation of SR). And leave Tonda alone. It's our call. And as for those pious neaderthals living in the north east, they need to have this 'integrity' shoved down their throats. They've acted with anything but over this saga. I remember going to Ayresome Park around '80/'81 season and getting off the train, there was only a hundred of us and we were met with police horses, police dogs. There was more than a cop for each away fan. In those days, the Newcastle cops would come down to police the Boro games and I asked one of them why the large presence, and he said a Forest fan had been stabbed the previous home game. Can we sue them? Data breach on Will Salt? They need to be put in their place.
