Ravaged by injuries, they’ll turn it around. They looked good before the injuries started.

Hoping they can recover for next week, want to see a proper battle in the West Ham derby match

Ridiculous red card. Bruno’s kicks were far worse than the retaliation, look at the delay before Bruno throws himself to the floor.

It's dawned on me that I don't understand the offside rule at all. Or are the officials just making it up as they go?

Even Haaland seemed confused it was going to be given!

In this case, the key part of the rule is that the player has to be "clearly attempting to play a ball which is close *when this action impacts on an opponent*".

Fernandez was obviously attempting to play the ball, but arguably did not impact the goalkeeper, and not enough for var.

I think bristols goal had more of a case for offside that man city's did.

He impacted the centre back and the goalie. Horrendous decision.

Coventry look pretty horrendous, they've not really strengthened the team that got them promoted. Also weird that they're wearing Sheffield Wednesday shirts.

And Hull bought a shed load of new premier league level players, didn't they...? Here's hoping Sport Republic are looking and learning, after our last Premier League debacle...
