Hostile atmosphere, albeit not on an intensity of our game today.

City getting it every time they have a spell of possession, fight a few minutes ago on the pitch and some of the banners - the ‘We’re not Here’ with the trophies crossed out and another in the Kop corner saying ‘a generation of supporters cheated’.

Very poor game. Been building it up for weeks and it's tepid.

Weirdly I’d like to see City score just for the rabid frothing of scouse hordes that would no doubt follow.

It’s been like Saints v Pompey of last season. Scrappy needle, but no chances at goal.

Yeah. It's funny now watching the pundits try to come up with something to talk about - they could always mention City's cheating but it's all swept conveniently under the carpet unlike spygate.

You nearly had your wish - Haaland very surprising miss clean through.

Scouse fury directed at the referee for second Gravenberg yellow instead. Carra Spit the Dog fuming on commentary.

City will surely lose these 3 points in the punishment 🙂

With that in mind are City players now just window dressing.

Liverpool have been like a damp squib after the red card

There's a proper meltdown going on regarding City winning today.

Some fans are absolutely furious. Why are they still in the league? How are they allowed to play? And that bench, is that even permitted?

I'm sorry, but I find it hilarious. If this is every weekend then I might even start paying attention to the EPL.

Assume will only be two relegation spots in PL this season but Coventry, Hull and Ipswich all look equipped to survive. Hopefully Bournemouth go

Enjoying Coventry's win here. Particularly the advantage for their third from the ref, very nicely done.

Yep, Coventry seem over their dodgy start now. It's early days but I fancy all 3 could stay up even if it was the usual 3 spots, they all seem to have a bit about them.

Newcastle are terrible. Their new manager isn’t working out so far.

In fairness, he's been given a tough start. Lost most of their top level players (Gordon, Tonali, Guimaries) and quite a few others out injured at the start of the season (Burn, Joelinton, Livramento, Ramsey). They signed a bunch as well but that's a major upheaval to handle as s new manager.

It wasn’t so much a judgement on him, I don’t know him from a bar of soap. It’s more a comment on it being a results business and being a being a bit confused by the clubs strategy.

Club are taking the piss here for West Ham.

Why bother with categories if you are just going to have something silly like Cat A*?

It's essentially a way to stop Membership Plus members from using their free tickets for the most attractive games.  They did something similar with the derby on Sunday, so it wasn't eligible.

I don't know him either. But I would think most sensible Geordie fans would take 8 points from 6 games and mid-table after losing their best players and their manager plus bad injury list so far. They won't be happy about last night though obviously!

Not sure about club strategy, Eddie Howe clearly wasn't happy about the player sales!

Bolton beating Wolves....

Sure it won't last. Bolton have one of the league's most porous defences.

Watford 3-0 down before half time. The manager might as well not bother coming out for the second half 🤣

4-0 think Watford and Preston contenders for drop. Hopefully Derby win tomorrow and Pompey drop into bottom 3

Watching Stoke vs. Boro.

HT: Boro are tidy enough on the ball and have a lot of it but haven't created anything. Cozier-Duberry down the right looks their biggest threat and most of their play is aimed at getting him on the ball, but he's not done anything of any real note. Lankshear obviously poses a threat but has had no service whatsoever.

They play fairly high up and can be pressed into mistakes in midfield to create spaces in behind. Really not that impressed so far. Think Stoke will hold them at arm's length and then nick something.

They look very beatable if you set up right.

Edit: Could be wrong though lol. Good finish tbf.

A promising Wolves counter-attack comes to nowt as Adam Armstrong fires tamely at Bolton keeper Gavin Bazunu from Rafiki Said's clever delivery into the box.

Probably expected Baz to dive out the way!
