Season tickets

I think I'm right in thinking there hasn't been a season ticket thread since we've been down.

Everyone still renewing? What about the people you know etc?

Out of my group of 4, all 4 our renewing. One was unsure but we pulled him around! Also, we may be adding an extra 2 to the group aswell! Seems we're quite excited about league 1

Assuming there's still a club, when do we reckon the prices will be released?

Yup, i'll be renewing as will 2 others i know, possibly 1 more on that too. On one condition however, that Lowe does not return.

Could we have a poll maybe mods? Make the question something like will you be renewing your ST next season based on the assumption that lowe will not return?

There's a poll on the echo too asking people if they'll still go & watch Saints in league 1 & 70% have voted yes.

I have been a season ticket holder apart from a short break since 1974. I shall be renewing unless Lowe returns in which case I will never set foot in St Marys stadium again.

A break since 1974? I'd hardly call 35 years a short break ;)

I shall be buying a season ticket for the first time whatever happens. This is a time to support the club, not descend into futher petty bickering no matter who is in the boardroom.

But its not petty bickering anymore for me, Lowe this season has proved he is incapable of running this club. Every action he has taken has been the wrong one IMO. Look at how we have used the loan market as an example.

Can you honestly name me one decision he has got right since coming back?

He has overseen 2 relegations, totally divided the fan base by his actions, had more managers than Cynthia Payne - none his fault, seen a massive drop in customer base and revenue and assisted with us going into administration.

He is not totally at fault and there is massive blame for Wilde's actions who I hold in far greater contempt.

This club needs a new broom with no baggage from the past - how can anyone trust Lowe to get us on the right track with his history and experience at Saints?

I do not and will not support him with my money any longer.

+1. Couldn't have said it better myself.

I'll renew my season ticket each season for as long as i or Saints live, but i will not be under any circumstances be renewing if Lowe is at the helm, I've simply had enough of him & will not continue to spend my hard earned money paying his wages.

If i were in charge of setting out season ticket prices & match day prices i'd go along with something like this...

Adults - £300 for renewals, £320 for earl bird, £350 on general sale

Teens/Over 60's - £200 for renewals, £220 for early bird, £250 on general sale

Under 13's - £50 for renewals, £80 for early bird, £100 on general sale

Match day prices

Adults - £18

Teens/Over 60's - £12

Juniors - £5

Reasonable prices that i think people will be prepared to pay for League 1 football & will generall keep the attendances around the 15k mark. Also think the club need to be running a lot more promotions such as kids for a quid or bring a friend for a tenner to help increase attendances. Without such prices & iniatives i think we'll be seeing 10-12k max next season.

Bit premature matey! There has to be a football team to follow and stadium to sit in before season tickets can be thought about. Neither looks likely at the moment so talk of ST's is nonsense.

You will not need ST's in the Wessex League or Blue Square.

I didn't get a season ticket this season due to lack of funds, but now I actually have a job I am really up for getting one for next season (League One). Might be a silly question but can anyone let me know when they go on sale? Can't find any information on the official website? And how much do you reckon they will be, approximately.

I will be getting my first Season Ticket ever this season as soon as they go on sale.

I realise there’s not a confirmed date as to when they go on sale, but does anyone have any idea’s as to when they might be?

Change junior price to under 16s otherwise it'll cost a 14/15 year old more to watch next season (£200) than it cost them this season (£150).

Unfortunately I wont be renewing as I've got a job that requires me to work Saturdays however my Dad and sister should be keeping their tickets in the Northam.

Will still be getting to as many matches as possible though! The cold midweek 0-0 games are always the best anyway ;)!!

It may well be worth getting a ST to ensure you get an away ticket next season. There are quite a few grounds that will only let us have a few tickets....Brighton as an example.

Indeed, I'd imagine there will be a lot of games next season that will be dependent on how many away games people have been to, some of the allocations we'll receive will be quite small...

Brighton - 900

Bristol Rovers - 1,100

Leyton Orient - 1,000

Northampton - 800

If there is a new pricing structure then I would consider it. 300 pounds was stated, I would consider that about fair. I would need to carefully consider my finances (as the costs of travel from Cov really add up over 23 games, and there will be some midweek ones I would struggle to get to) but it is something I would be keen to get.
